This series will include a look at which prospects could be options for the Chargers later this month.<\/p>\n<p>We chatted with draft analyst Trevor Sikkema to break down the wide receivers in this draft class. Sikkema can be found on X\/Twitter <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TampaBayTre\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\">@TampaBayTre<\/a> for his analysis.<\/p>\n<p>\n  Chargers status at wide receiver<\/p>\n<p>Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston, Tre&#8217; Harris, Derius Davis, KeAndre Lambert-Smith, Luke Grimm, Dalevon Campbell and JaQuae Jackson<\/p>\n<p>The Chargers wide receiver position enters 2026 after another season of solid production.<\/p>\n<p>While it wasn&#8217;t the numbers he put up as a rookie, <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chargers.com\/news\/ladd-mcconkey-nfl-top-100-list-2025\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ladd McConkey<\/a> once again led the Bolts in receiving yards (789) and added six more scores to his tally.<\/p>\n<p>McConkey continues his stellar pace over the first two years of his career, as his 1,978 yards are the second-most among players drafted in his class and his 13 touchdowns lead the group.<\/p>\n<p>Not to mention, he&#8217;s also hauled in the second-most receptions and receiving first downs among his draft class.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chargers.com\/news\/quentin-johnston-inside-story-chargers-tcu-draft\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Quentin Johnston<\/a> also headlines the Bolts receiver group, as the 24-year-old put together an even stronger season than the year before.<\/p>\n<p>He surpassed his career-best yardage total with 735 and once again had a knack for the end zone, scoring a team-leading eight touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>Then there&#8217;s intriguing second-year receiver <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chargers.com\/news\/tre-harris-nfl-draft-2025-wide-receiver-5-things\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tre\u2019 Harris,<\/a> who played a big role as a blocker and showed flashes of his ability on every level on the field.<\/p>\n<p>Harris&#8217; numbers as a rookie don&#8217;t tell the whole story and he&#8217;s now a player who enters 2026 with plenty of eyes on him to see how he can perform in Mike McDaniel&#8217;s offense.<\/p>\n<p>Derius Davis and second-year receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith each handled their respective return duties last season, as they enter big years with plenty of chance to make some noise.<\/p>\n<p>The group is rounded out by Luke Grimm, Dalevon Campbell and JaQuae Jackson, each of whom spent time on the team&#8217;s practice squad last season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Welcome to Part 4 of our draft preview series, which will be a position-by-position look at key prospects&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":857111,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[116149,37,7,34,38,6,15],"class_list":{"0":"post-857110","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-nfl-draft","8":"tag-2026-draft-editorial","9":"tag-app-homepage","10":"tag-football","11":"tag-homepage-cp","12":"tag-homepage-headlines","13":"tag-nfl","14":"tag-nfl-draft"},"share_on_mastodon":{"url":"","error":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/857110","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=857110"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/857110\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/857111"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=857110"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=857110"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=857110"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
