With the 2026 NFL<\/a> draft less than three weeks away, some draft analysts are wondering whether the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> will select another quarterback.<\/p>\n ESPN draft analyst Jordan Reid thinks one QB in particular is best suited for Philly: former Arkansas QB Taylen Green. He started out at Boise State, where he redshirted in 2021 before earning Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors in 2022 and winning the conference championship game MVP in 2023. He then transferred to Arkansas, where he started two seasons in the SEC.<\/p>\n At Arkansas, Green threw for 5,868 yards with 34 touchdowns and 20 interceptions while adding 1,379 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground. Across four years as a starter between both schools, he accumulated 12,063 yards of total offense and 94 total TDs.<\/p>\n His NFL combine performance in Indianapolis cemented his reputation as one of the most explosive athletes in this class regardless of position. Green ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds<\/a> \u2014 the first sub-4.4 by a quarterback since at least 2003, breaking Robert Griffin III\u2019s previous best of 4.41 set in 2012.
