After firing head coach Sean McDermott and replacing him with offensive coordinator Joe Brady, the Buffalo Bills<\/a> appear to be pushing all their chips to the center of the table and betting on quarterback Josh Allen.<\/p>\n The team has been on the cusp of a Super Bowl for years but fallen short in the playoffs every year.<\/p>\n The team has taken some swings to try and build a strong supporting cast around Allen, and one of the moves that\u2019s backfired so far was drafting wide receiver Keon Coleman in Round 2 of the 2024 NFL<\/a> draft.<\/p>\n ESPN Analyst Proposes Severing Ties With Coleman GettyBuffalo Bills WR Keon Coleman has been on the trade block for months<\/p>\n Like most Bills fans, ESPN\u2019s Bill Barnwell believes it\u2019s time for the team to move on from Coleman, who logged just 67 catches, 960 yards, and 8 touchdowns in two seasons in Buffalo.<\/p>\n Barnwell recently proposed the Bills send the 26th (Round 1) and 168th (Round 5) overall picks plus Coleman to the Tennessee Titans<\/a> in exchange for the 35th (Round 2) and 66th (Round 3) overall picks in the 2026 draft.<\/p>\n \u201cAfter trading that second-round pick to the Bears<\/a> for DJ Moore, Bills general manager Brandon Beane should be looking to move down from No. 26 and add a Day 2 pick,\u201d Barnwell wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cHe can sweeten the pot by including Coleman. Though Joe Brady has said that he values Coleman and thinks that the third-year wide receiver can continue to grow in a Bills uniform, ownership publicly trashing Coleman in that memorable postseason news conference tells you how the most important person in the building sees the 2024 second-round pick. This trade values Coleman as a fourth-rounder, which seems about right for a player who hasn\u2019t consistently impressed so far as a pro.\u201d<\/p>\n Coleman Could Benefit From a Fresh Start GettyBuffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and WR Keon Coleman<\/p>\n The 22-year-old wideout has fallen out of favor quickly in Buffalo.<\/p>\n Though the team claimed it was because of his missing team meetings, Coleman was a healthy scratch multiple times last season. Many people around the team believe it was Buffalo\u2019s way of sending Coleman a message that he was on thin ice.<\/p>\n Brady has publicly supported Coleman since getting hired as head coach, but eliminating the distraction the Florida State alum brought last season may outweigh the potential the team sees in him.<\/p>\n In Tennessee, Coleman might flourish in a new system with a clean slate.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Titans would add Coleman as a young player with upside to compete on the outside,\u201d Barnwell continued. \u201cCalvin Ridley agreed to a pay cut this offseason, but this could be the 31-year-old\u2019s final season in Tennessee.<\/p>\n \u201cWan\u2019Dale Robinson is likely to play a hybrid role and create after the catch. Coleman would give the Titans a bigger body to split out wide for Cam Ward.
