The Buffalo Bills<\/a> and superstar quarterback Josh Allen are still in the middle of what appears to be an open Super Bowl window.<\/p>\n Over the last few years, the team has consistently been one of the most talented teams in the NFL<\/a>. Unfortunately, they have been unable to take the final step into the Super Bowl.<\/p>\n Recently, a big problem for the Bills has come at the wide receiver position. Buffalo simply did not have enough talent for Allen to work with. That was addressed early this offseason.<\/p>\n Brandon Beane and the front office went out and pulled off a trade with the Chicago Bears<\/a> to acquire star wide receiver D.J. Moore. That move will take the offense to new heights, but it\u2019s possible the Bills aren\u2019t done just yet.<\/p>\n Adding another wide receiver would make a lot of sense.<\/p>\n Bills Urged to Consider Adding Another Wide Receiver for Josh Allen<\/p>\n Bleacher Report\u2019s Gary Davenport has suggested that wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster could make sense for Buffalo as another weapon for Allen.<\/p>\n \u201cJuju Smith-Schuster\u2019s days of catching 100 passes and topping 1,400 receiving yards are long past him,\u201d Davenport wrote<\/a>. \u201cBut it wasn\u2019t that long ago (2022) that Smith-Schuster caught 78 passes for 933 yards and three scores with the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>, and the 10th-year veteran won\u2019t turn 30 until November.\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s important to be very clear that Smith-Schuster is not a star caliber wide receiver. However, he could play the role of a No. 2 or No. 3 weapon for Allen.<\/p>\n At the very least, signing a player like Smith-Schuster would add quality depth. Should another wideout go down, the Bills would have a player capable of stepping up and playing at a high level. Allen needs that kind of depth.<\/p>\n Looking at JuJu Smith-Schuster\u2019s Recent NFL Track Record<\/p>\n Last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Smith-Schuster caught 33 passes for 345 yards and a touchdown. In 2024, he caught 18 passes for 231 yards and two scores.<\/p>\n Each of the last three years, the veteran wideout has not had a consistent role. That could be the with the Bills, but having a No. 4 wideout producing 345 yards and a touchdown would be valuable.<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the kind of move that would move the needle much when it comes to Super Bowl contention. Allen would be excited about the addition simply because an injury wouldn\u2019t deplete the offense aggressively.<\/p>\n It\u2019s also possible that Smith-Schuster could bounce back and put together his best season in three years.<\/p>\n On a cheap one-year contract, there should be no questions for Buffalo.
