If the Miami Dolphins wanted to trade back up for a second 2nd-round draft choice, how high could they get from 75th overall?<\/p>\n

If the Miami Dolphins<\/a> end up having an appetite to move up the board later this month, they\u2019ll have every opportunity to move around in the 2026 NFL Draft<\/a>. <\/p>\n

No team has equal draft capital to the D0lphins in the top-100 from a volume perspective. Miami is currently scheduled for seven picks at the end of the month between Thursday and Friday nights. We have already explored the outlook of trading up in the first round<\/a> \u2014 but what about if the Dolphins were interested in securing another second-round draft choice on Friday night? How high could Miami get by using their 75th overall pick as the launch point of a deal? <\/p>\n

There\u2019s plenty of action on Friday of the NFL Draft. Teams come back home on Friday morning and re-stack their draft boards. Perhaps Miami feels the push to go get a second second-round draft choice? If they do, their draft choice at No. 75 overall will serve as a vital launch point. According to the Rich Hill NFL Draft trade value chart<\/a>, the 75th overall pick is worth 63 points. The 64th pick (and final selection of the second round) is valued at 80 points. <\/p>\n

Miami could, in theory, package picks 75 and 130 (19 points) together. It would offer enough value to match that of the 63rd pick. <\/p>\n

If the Dolphins want to go big, they do have the ammunition. Miami can easily make a splash with a combination of third-round picks. Miami\u2019s second scheduled third-round pick at No. 87 overall is valued on the same trade value chart at 48 points. Picks No. 75 and 87 combined are valued on the Rich Hill trade value chart at 111 overall points, which is equal to approximately the same value as the 52nd overall pick. <\/p>\n

With the right trade partner, Miami\u2019s two top third-round picks could quite easily become another second round pick on the fringes of the top-50. I wouldn\u2019t advocate Miami bundling more than two picks together to leap up even further based on the depths of Miami\u2019s needs. But it worth noting that they will have the opportunity to jump back into the top-60 with a pair of picks in the right situation. <\/p>\n

That\u2019s the beauty of the draft. Everything\u2019s on the table. Especially with seven top-100 picks. <\/p>\n
