The Miami Dolphins<\/a> needed help at cornerback this offseason with Kader Kohou, Rasul Douglas, Jack Jones, Artie Burns, Ifeatu Melifonwu and Kendall Sheffield all hitting the market.<\/p>\n To fill these holes, Miami brought in a few veterans over the first week of the new league year, including Marco Wilson.<\/p>\n Before Wilson take a snap in a Dolphins<\/a> jersey, let’s go over what fans should know about him.<\/p>\n Pre-NFL days<\/p>\n Wilson grew up in Florida and attended American Heritage in Fort Lauderdale, where he was a four-star recruit before spending his college days at Florida from 2017-20. He was with the Cardinals from 2021-23, the New England Patriots from 2023-24 and Cincinnati Bengals from 2024-25. In his five seasons, he’s appeared in 64 games and started 37 while recording 179 tackles, 20 passes defensed, three interceptions and three forced fumbles.<\/p>\n Art<\/p>\n Following Wilson on social media<\/a>, you can see his love and passion for art. While he’s often seen using spray paint in his art, he clarified in a recent post by the team that he’s not specifically a spray-paint artist. He wanted it to be known that he can paint with other mediums.<\/p>\n Wilson also revealed<\/a> that he is the first active NFL player to have his art exhibited at Art Basel.
