The New England Patriots will host several NFL Draft prospects at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, and all of them have one thing in common. Be it through college, high school or hometown, they all have ties to the region.<\/p>\n
As of Tuesday morning, the following players have been confirmed as invitees<\/a> (the list will be added to as more names come in throughout the day):<\/p>\n Obviously, those are not the only players that will be in attendance on Tuesday. Other local schools such as Boston College, Dartmouth or Rhode Island are also expected to be represented through their own draft hopefuls.<\/p>\n The most prominent name on the list at this point is cornerback Devon Marshall. Projected as a Day 3 selection in the draft later this month, the Boston native appeared in 48 games between stints at Villanova and N.C. State and registered four interceptions.<\/p>\n For him and other invited players, the local pro day will be an opportunity to improve on their workout numbers \u2014 Marshall, for example, posted a fairly pedestrian 4.24 Relative Athletic Score<\/a> thus far \u2014 and give the local team a more intimate look at what they bring to the table. Unlike Marshall, most of the invitees are not expected to hear their names called in the draft.<\/p>\n Among that specific group is UMass offensive tackle Ryan Mosesso, who was born in Marshfield and played high school football in Dedham.<\/p>\n
