The Pittsburgh Steelers are hosting three pre-draft visitors Tuesday, bringing the reported total up to 20 including local prospects. They are hosting Washington WR Denzel Boston, Florida State DL Darrell Jackson Jr. and local ILB prospect Jaden Dugger out of Louisiana-Lafayette, according to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette\u2019s Brian Batko<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Boston\u2019s visit was first reported in the middle of March<\/a>, so he isn\u2019t technically new, but he joins CB Chris Johnson and ILB Jacob Rodriguez as the only potential first-round picks on the Steelers\u2019 list for the time being. The 6035, 212-pound receiver opted not to run the 40-yard dash but has received first-round buzz throughout the process after hauling in 62 receptions for 881 yards and 11 TDs for Washington in 2025.<\/p>\n

Our scouting report on Boston<\/a> showed a fluid athlete with good downfield tape and a knack for contested catches, drawing comparisons to Kenny Golladay.<\/p>\n

Jackson is an intriguing DL prospect at 6054, 315 pounds with 34-inch arms. He fits what the Steelers look for in the position and impressed at both the Shrine Bowl and the Senior Bowl in January. Spending his final three college seasons at Florida State, he finished with 45 total tackles, three TFLs and a sack in 2025.<\/p>\n

Our scouting report on Jackson notes that he could have an immediate impact in the run game<\/a> with upside as a pass rusher yet to be realized. We gave him a mid-Day 2 grade.<\/p>\n

Dugger attended Penn Hills for high school, so he is considered a local prospect that doesn\u2019t count against the Steelers\u2019 30-visit limit. At his Louisiana Pro Day, Dugger measured in at 6046, 242 pounds with a 4.61-second 40-yard dash, 17 reps on the bench press and a 34 1\/2-inch vertical jump.<\/p>\n

In 2025, Dugger racked up 125 total tackles, 13 TFLs, four sacks, an INT, a FF and three passes defensed. He was an All-Conference selection in 2020 and 2021 at Penn Hills and played both football and basketball before spending his first two college seasons at Georgetown as a defensive back.<\/p>\n

He told our Josh Carney at the Shrine Bowl that he models his game after Steelers ILB Payton Wilson<\/a>. Now it seems like the Steelers have interest in adding him to the same room as Wilson in Pittsburgh. Dugger is currently projected to go undrafted but could find himself as a Day 3 pick.<\/p>\n
