One woman described having a $650 dinner at the Kansas City-based venue \u2014 which opened in September 2025 and has attracted high-profile guests, including Taylor Swift,<\/a> who’s engaged to Kelce.\u00a0<\/p>\n The woman called it, in her view, “the worst fine-dining experience I’ve ever had.”<\/p>\n POPULAR STEAKHOUSE’S DRESS CODE SPARKS BACKLASH AS DINERS TOLD TO DITCH HATS OR EAT AT THE BAR<\/a><\/p>\n Her comments, however, are in stark contrast to others who said they had very positive experiences at the venue. \u00a0<\/p>\n TikTok user Nicole Rose, who posts under the handle @knicnacks, shared a video<\/a> in mid-March that has since garnered more than 600,000 views.<\/p>\n In the video,<\/a> she listed a series of complaints, beginning with what she said was slow drink service and some confusion over the restaurant’s tableside martini cart.<\/p>\n Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes co-own the Kansas City steakhouse 1587 Prime, which opened in 2025. A Business Insider review<\/a> from October said an $800 dinner “did not disappoint” \u2014 praising the steakhouse’s “luxurious” atmosphere and attention to detail.<\/p>\n The NFL legends’ restaurant has had mixed reactions since opening in Kansas City.
