Per NFL rules, the\u00a0Green Bay Packers<\/a>\u00a0are allowed to host up to 30 draft-eligible players (excluding \u201clocal\u201d prospects, such as those in the UW system or nearby regional schools such as Northern Illinois) for in-person visits. The Journal Sentinel is tracking the visits and supplying profiles based on information from sources and published reports.<\/p>\n

Louisville<\/a> linebacker TJ Quinn<\/a> is one of those people.<\/p>\n

Quinn came to the Cardinals as a high school safety but after red-shirting in 2021, he began his ascent toward becoming the team\u2019s best defensive player. Quinn owned the middle linebacker position and led the team in tackles each of his final three seasons.<\/p>\n

He finished with 289 tackles, five sacks, 15 tackles for loss, and nine passes defended over his time at Louisville.<\/p>\n

Quinn will make a pre-draft visit to the Green Bay Packers<\/a>, according to a source.<\/p>\n

\u201cA team would get a great person first off, and a hard worker who is willing to learn,\u201d Quinn told NFL Draft Diamonds<\/a>. \u201cI am a locker room guy, and I get along with anybody, no matter who it is. You will get someone with high energy [who] want[s] to get better every day and show what I can do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Quinn ran the 40-yard dash in 4.53 seconds at his pro day, which would have ranked tied for fourth among the linebackers at the NFL scouting combine. At just 225 pounds, Quinn will have to play a hybrid linebacker\/safety position in the NFL because it will be hard for him to fend off massive NFL offensive linemen.<\/p>\n

For the Packers<\/a>, he would fit a three-safety look that coordinator Jonathan Gannon used during his time as Arizona Cardinals head coach. One of those players has to be big enough to fill a gap in the run game and Quinn would probably be able to do that.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat stands out the most about my film is you will see some of everything in it,\u201d Quinn said. \u201cI am a versatile player who makes plays sideline to sideline. I am an eraser and whenever there is a mistake I am there to fix it. I am someone who can make plays in all parts of the game.\u201d<\/p>\n
