The Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> will be an interesting watch on draft night, with the franchise and its star receiver A.J. Brown in the headlines over a potential trade.<\/p>\n

Many think that the Eagles won’t trade Brown until after June 1, while others think that if the NFC East franchise doesn’t get the ideal compensation it wants, A.J. will remain an Eagle.<\/p>\n

But given the rumors we have seen floating around, it does feel inevitable that Brown will be dealt; it’s just a matter of when.<\/p>\n

And for ESPN’s Peter Schrager, in his latest mock draft, the Eagles make a selection that puts the entire NFL on notice… they draft a receiver in Denzel Boston.<\/p>\n

“Boston is electric, and Washington coach Jedd Fisch and Eagles general manager Howie Roseman are longtime college buddies,” Schrager wrote<\/a>. “Some NFL sources I have spoken to have Boston as the second or third wideout in this class. And if the Eagles take him, A.J. Brown’s future becomes all the more interesting and will undoubtedly hit the A Block on “Get Up” on Friday morning coming out of the draft.”<\/p>\n

Eagles the main headline of NFL Draft<\/p>\n

We have seen before that players get traded on draft night, and in fact, Brown was one of those when the Eagles made a deal with the Tennessee Titans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Could lightning strike twice? Maybe.<\/p>\n

But if the Eagles take a receiver in the first round, that would nearly all but confirm that Brown’s future is elsewhere in 2026.<\/p>\n

I still think he gets moved on, and it is a question of when, not if, and the Eagles have made it clear they want fair value.<\/p>\n

And until Brown gets dealt, this will continue to be a big storyline in the NFL… especially if the Eagles draft a receiver.<\/p>\n
