With Boye Mafe departing in free agency, DeMarcus Lawrence entering his age-34 season and Uchenna Nwosu heading into his age-30 season, many expect the Seattle Seahawks to add an edge rusher at some point in this month\u2019s NFL Draft.<\/p>\n

But in addition to the draft, the Seahawks could also explore bolstering their edge rushing depth on the veteran free agent market.<\/p>\n

One such player who\u2019s still available is eight-time Pro Bowl edge rusher Cameron Jordan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jordan, who has 132 sacks over his decorated 15-year career with the New Orleans Saints, is set to turn 37 in July. But he still produced at a high level last season, racking up 10.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles. He also excelled against the run, ranking fifth out of 119 edge defenders in Pro Football Focus<\/a> run defense grading.<\/p>\n

Jordan has never reached the Super Bowl, so perhaps the idea of joining a championship contender like the Seahawks could appeal to him.<\/p>\n

During Monday\u2019s edition of Four Down Territory on Seattle Sports\u2019 Bump and Stacy, former NFL wide receiver Michael Bumpus<\/a> highlighted Jordan as a possible option for the Seahawks to entertain.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf he\u2019s still around after this draft is over, go ahead and take a look at Cam,\u201d Bumpus said. \u201c\u2026 That\u2019s a spot where you can rotate guys in. You\u2019re not gonna depend on him every single snap. He had 10.5 sacks last year. He\u2019s still on the market. Kick the tires.\u201d<\/p>\n
