Where will the Oregon star end up? ESPN’s Pete Schrager released a mock draft recently. He has Sadiq going 14th overall to the Baltimore Ravens:

“14. Baltimore Ravens – Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

What better way to show Lamar Jackson and Ravens fans that the Baltimore offense isn’t going anywhere without offensive coordinator Todd Monken or former TE2 Isaiah Likely than by drafting a supreme talent like Sadiq? One of the stars of the combine, Sadiq ran a 4.39-second 40-yard dash, the fastest time for a tight end since at least 2003. He also caught 51 passes last season, the most ever by an Oregon tight end. Mark Andrews in Baltimore, but he’s now in his 30s, and this offense likes having multiple impact players at the position.”

It seems as if most mock drafts have Sadiq going to the Carolina Panthers at No. 19. And that could very well happen, as he’d be a great offensive weapon for quarterback Bryce Young. But don’t rule out Sadiq landing in Baltimore, who could also use his services.

Ravens Mock Draft Has Team Selecting First-Round Pass-Catcher

Spotlighting His Career

Kenyon Sadiq attended Skyline High School in Idaho Falls, Idaho. During his junior year, he helped lead the school to an IHSAA 4A state championship. The following year, he caught 79 passes for 1,166 yards and 19 touchdowns.

Sadiq was rated as the top recruit in Idaho. He then received college offers from schools like Michigan, Washington, and Iowa State. He ultimately chose to play for the Oregon Ducks.

Sadiq played in all 14 games for the Ducks as a freshman. He caught five passes for 24 yards and a touchdown that year. He found the end zone for the first time in his career during the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.

As a sophomore in 2024, Sadiq recorded 24 receptions, 308 receiving yards, and a pair of touchdowns. He also rushed for 24 yards.

The 2025 season was a breakout year for Sadiq. He caught 40 passes for 490 yards, and eight touchdowns (all career-highs). Those numbers made him a finalist for the Mackey Award (top tight end in the nation). However, he wound up finishing second to Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers.

Should the Ravens Draft Him?

Baltimore lost TE2 Isaiah Likely in free agency. The former fourth-round pick signed with the New York Giants this offseason.

Kenyon Sadiq would be an excellent replacement for Likely. Plus, he’d be a lot cheaper. While Likely will earn $13.3 million per year in New York, Sadiq’s rookie deal will be around just $4 million annually.

The Ravens already have Mark Andrews at tight end. But as Schrager pointed out, he’s now in his 30s (turns 31 in September). Not to mention, he caught just 48 passes for 422 yards last season.

Andrews isn’t going to be around forever. Sadiq could be the future in Baltimore. Although he’s a bit undersized for the tight end position (6-foot-3 and 241 pounds), he could dominate as a red-zone threat in the NFL. So yes, the Ravens should draft him if they get the opportunity.

Main Image: Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

Kenyon Sadiq is considered the top tight end prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft.
