They addressed swing tackle and also brought in former top pick <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/StraCo01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-08_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cole Strange<\/a> to bolster their interior line (he was never going to pan out as a tackle).\u201d\u00a0<br \/>\nOne personnel executive on a team that was in the offensive line market praised Los Angeles\u2019 work to address their line, but still feels they need OTs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/S\/SlatRa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-08_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Rashawn Slater<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/A\/AltxJo01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-08_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Joe Alt<\/a> to get back into form: \u201cI like what they did on the line, for the most part, but none of that is going to matter if they don\u2019t get the tackles back playing like they were before the injuries.\u201d<br \/>\nAnother GM praised their addition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/M\/MitcKe01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-08_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Keaton Mitchell<\/a>: \u201cI don\u2019t know why Baltimore let him walk (an a non-tendered restricted free agent), but he is a perfect fit with McDaniel. That kid can do a lot of the stuff (Raheem) Mostert did in that offense\u2026 He can\u2019t touch the ball more than 10 times a game or he\u2019s going to break down, but he could be a home run hitter in that offense.\u201d<br \/>\nThere was some expectation around the league that the Packers would sign DT <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/T\/TomlDa00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-08_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dalvin Tomlinson<\/a> before he landed with the Chargers. One personnel executive told La Canfora that Green Bay didn\u2019t like Tomlinson\u2019s weight: \u201cThe reason he didn\u2019t sign with Green Bay like everyone thought was because of his weight. I heard he really didn\u2019t look good. He\u2019s going to have to put in a lot of work.\u201d<br \/>\nUtah OT Caleb Lomu visited the Chargers. (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BillyM_91\/status\/2041271684942938588?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\">Billy Marshall<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.essentiallysports.com\/nfl-active-news-sources-browns-open-to-trade-down-draft-spencer-fano-lions-eye-kadyn-proctor\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tony Pauline of EssentiallySports<\/a> reports that the Chiefs are \u201cleaning heavily\u201d toward taking an offensive tackle at No. 9 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.\u00a0<br \/>\nRegarding Miami RT Francis Mauigoa, Pauline is told that the\u201csweet spot\u201d for him\u00a0is at No. 9 to Kansas City or No. 11 to the Dolphins.<br \/>\nAccording to Pauline, both Kansas City and Miami spent an \u201cinordinate amount of time\u201d with Mauigoa.<br \/>\nPauline also writes that the Chiefs are \u201cvery high\u201d on Utah OT Spencer Fano and would keep him at right tackle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>New Raiders QB <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/C\/CousKi00.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-08_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Kirk Cousins<\/a> sounded excited when asked about getting the chance to play with young star TE <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pro-football-reference.com\/players\/B\/BoweBr01.htm?utm_medium=linker&amp;utm_source=nfltraderumors.co&amp;utm_campaign=2026-04-08_pfr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Brock Bowers<\/a> in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, I think he may be the best tight end in football,\u201d Cousins said of Bowers, via\u00a0<a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.raiders.com\/news\/why-kirk-cousins-believes-las-vegas-is-the-perfect-next-chapter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">the team website<\/a>. \u201cHopefully, we can make that a reality this fall. Gotta keep him healthy, just like some of the other great players on this team. But he gives us the ability to use a lot of different personnel groupings. I think that can allow us to be very creative with how we attack defenses. I\u2019ve always really enjoyed playing with talented tight ends because of the curveball that it throws at defenses. I expect Brock to be as good of a curveball as I\u2019ve ever played with. Can\u2019t wait to see how we can use him and to get on the grass with him.
