Our Darren \u2018Doogie\u2019 Wolfson caught up with ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller on Wednesday. The Vikings have nine draft picks, four in the top-100. The 2026 NFL Draft is Apr. 23-25.<\/p>\n

The Vikings have these selections in the top-100: 18, 49, 82, and 97.<\/p>\n
A case can be made that the Vikings could draft a safety, cornerback, defensive tackle, linebacker, tight end, center, and running back. What positions will they target with those top-100 picks?<\/p>\n
Interim general manager Rob Brzezinski\u00a0is in charge this year. The Vikings plan on conducting a search for a new full-time GM following the draft, with Brzezinski very much in the mix.<\/p>\n
The Vikings\u2019 biggest offseason so far was signing free agent QB Kyler Murray to a 1-year deal. <\/p>\n
Murray, who turns 29 on Aug. 7, will have the opportunity to rejuvenate his career and set up a big payday next year, much like Sam Darnold did in 2024 with O\u2019Connell and the Vikings after McCarthy was sidelined. Though Murray has not played in a system like the one O\u2019Connell runs, his ability is such that finding a way to be productive with him ought not to be difficult for the 2024 AP NFL Coach of the Year.<\/p>\n
The Vikings are looking to return to the postseason in 2026 after missing out last season.<\/p>\n
