Wedding bells are ringing for Kansas<\/a> City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 27\u2013year\u2013old is engaged to Derek Green just one year after making their relationship public, as she showed off details of the dreamy proposal on her Instagram this weekend.<\/p>\n

Hunt, who is the daughter of Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark and Tavia Hunt, was proposed to while the family was on vacation in Mexico<\/a>, as Green got down on one knee in a sea of beautifully lit candles surrounded by a desert scene of cacti and flowers.<\/p>\n

Green is the son of former Super Bowl<\/a>\u00a0champion quarterback Trent Green, who played with the Chiefs for six seasons.<\/p>\n

Hunt wore a gorgeous, bridal\u2013esque white halter\u2013neck dress as she arrived in a golf cart to the proposal, but of course what really stole the show was the engagement ring.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to Gemporia’s<\/a>\u00a0gemstone expert Toby Cavill, the ring, set on a diamond band with emerald detailing, is estimated to be worth anywhere from a whopping $200,000 to $335,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cavill told the Daily Mail that he believes the diamond is around four to five carats.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘This is a three\u2013stone engagement ring featuring an elongated cushion cut diamond as the center stone with two green emeralds set either side \u2013 as a possible personal nod to her fianc\u00e9’s name,’ Cavill revealed to the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

The gemstone expert said that Hunt’s ring is one that’s very much on trend for 2026 brides.<\/p>\n

‘The elongated cushion cut is one of the shapes that has grown most in popularity over the past year, driven in part by Taylor Swift’s antique cushion cut engagement ring,’ he explained to the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n

‘Three stone rings are also getting contemporary updates in 2026 with unexpected gemstone combinations \u2013 exactly what we see here with the emerald accents,’ he continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Gracie’s ring is very much at the forefront of where engagement ring design is heading \u2013 personal, meaningful, and beautifully executed with natural gemstones.’<\/p>\n

The ring was designed by Dallas\u2013based jeweler\u00a0Lyles DeGrazier, according to People.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The company’s master jeweler Scott Polk, who also helped to make her mom Tavia’s ring back in the day, also assisted in the process.<\/p>\n

In the comments section, Hunt’s friends and family gushed over the exciting milestone.<\/p>\n

‘DREAMS DO COME TRUE!! Congratulations you two!! We love you so much!!’ Hunt’s mom, Tavia, wrote.<\/p>\n

Sports reporter Erin Andrews commented: ‘Awwww congrats.’<\/p>\n

The mom of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, Randi Mahomes, also sent her well\u2013wishes, writing: ‘So exciting!! Congratulations.’\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple have been friends for many years and both attended Southern Methodist University.<\/p>\n

‘Derek and I have known each other our whole lives,’ Hunt told People last year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
