Even after losing John Franklin-Myers during NFL free agency, the Denver Broncos<\/a> feel good about their defensive line depth going into the NFL draft later this month.<\/p>\n

Denver has Zach Allen and D.J. Jones returning as starters, and key rotational lineman Malcolm Roach has also returned. Behind them, the Broncos appear to have two primary contenders<\/a> to replace JFM in Sai’vion Jones and Eyioma Uwazurike, plus additional depth provided by Jordan Jackson.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust going into it, we feel pretty good,” general manager George Paton said of the team’s defensive line ahead of the draft. “We have Sai\u2019vion, and we have our four guys coming back. Our starters, and then \u2018Enny\u2019 (Uwazurike) really came on, and then Sai\u2019vion and Jordan Jackson.”<\/p>\n

Despite that promising depth, Denver has not ruled out adding to the line during the draft.<\/p>\n

“We have pretty good depth,” Paton said, “but you are always looking for big guys on the offensive and defensive lines.\u201d<\/p>\n

Following\u00a0the\u00a0Jaylen Waddle trade<\/a> last month, Denver\u00a0holds seven picks<\/a>\u00a0in the 2026 NFL draft, which will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.<\/p>\n
