The Seattle Seahawks<\/a> are already looking ahead to next season after winning Super Bowl 60, but Seattle had to make some tough decisions in free agency. One of those tough choices came with running back Kenneth Walker III<\/a>, who is off to the Kansas City Chiefs on a three-year deal worth just over $43 million.<\/p>\n

Walker was a dynamic playmaker for the Seahawks offense who lit it up in the playoffs. In Super Bowl 60, Walker\u2019s dominant performance on the ground earned him Super Bowl MVP honors.<\/p>\n

On top of losing Walker, the Seahawks will also have to wait for the return of Zach Charbonnet from a torn ACL<\/a> that he suffered during the playoffs. That leaves George Holani and free-agent signing Emanuel Wilson as the top backs on the roster heading into the NFL Draft while Charbonnet is out injured.<\/p>\n

The running back room has been the loudest talking point around the Seahawks this offseason, but Mike Macdonald<\/a> is ready for everyone to just take a chill pill<\/a>, via Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks only have four picks in the upcoming NFL Draft, and it remains to be seen whether they will use one of those picks to address the running back room. If not, Holani got some playoff reps last season and Wilson is a veteran back who can eat some carries.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks offense will look a lot different next season with Klint Kubiak no longer calling the plays, and now the uncertainty in the running back room will overshadow the rest of the offseason. Regardless, Seattle will be confident in its chances to repeat with Sam Darnold and Jaxon Smith-Njigba leading the offense while the defense does a ton of heavy lifting once again on the other side of the ball.<\/p>\n
