{"id":862503,"date":"2026-04-09T18:27:20","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T18:27:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/862503\/"},"modified":"2026-04-09T18:27:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T18:27:20","slug":"cleveland-browns-girls-hs-flag-coach-of-the-week-returns-for-2nd-consecutive-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/862503\/","title":{"rendered":"Cleveland Browns Girls HS Flag Coach of the Week returns for 2nd consecutive season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an ongoing effort to advance Girls High School Flag Football and highlight the leadership driving the sport across Northeast and Central Ohio, the Cleveland Browns are excited to announce the return of the Cleveland Browns Girls HS Flag Football Coach of the Week program for its second consecutive season.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Coach of the Week program will recognize 11 outstanding head coaches, one from each division, who exemplify leadership, sportsmanship and a commitment to the continued growth of girls flag football. Public voting is open to athletes, fellow coaches, school administrators, educators, parents and community members, who are also encouraged to share why a coach is deserving of recognition.<\/p>\n<p>Each Coach of the Week will be featured on ClevelandBrowns.com and across the @BrownsGiveBack and @BrownsYouthFB social media channels. In addition, each selected coach will receive $1,000 in funding from the Cleveland Browns to help support and grow their girls high school flag football program.<\/p>\n<p>As the program launches this year, the opening weeks will follow a slightly different structure than the standard weekly cadence. Voting for Weeks 1\u20133 will open on Friday, April 10 at 9 a.m. and close on Monday, April 13 at 9 a.m., allowing full voting participation across multiple divisions. Coaches from these weeks will then be announced next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Following this initial launch period, the program will transition into its regular weekly cadence for the remainder of the season.
