FOX Sports’s Ralph Vaacchiano proposed the Cleveland Browns acquire Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Walker Little during the 2026 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland Browns<\/a> did quite a bit in 2026 NFL free agency to address their offensive line. But not enough for FOX Sports\u2019s Ralph Vacchiano, who called on the Browns to acquire yet another offensive lineman in a trade during the 2026 NFL Draft \u2014 Walker Little<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old offensive tackle has started 39 games in his career. But Vacchiano sees Little as a reclamation project this offseason, giving the Browns a unique opportunity if they want to give a recently benched starter another shot.<\/p>\n

This week, Vacchiano proposed Cleveland acquire Little for a conditional 2027 draft pick.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrading for a quality tackle isn\u2019t easy, because they\u2019re hard to find. But the 6-7, 325-pound Little lost his job in Jacksonville last season, and then the Jags signed his replacement, Cole Van Lanen, to a three-year, $51 million deal,\u201d wrote Vacchiano<\/a>. \u201cLittle is a valuable, versatile backup for Jacksonville, but he\u2019s also got two years, $25 million left on his own contract.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Browns\u2019 line is a mess, and they need better protection for whichever quarterback they go with. Given Little\u2019s contract and the fact he\u2019s coming off a down season, he won\u2019t cost more than a Day 3 pick, even though his talent exceeds that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Even though he was benched, Little started<\/a> 14 games for the Jaguars during the 2025 campaign. He started 12 contests at left tackle, where he lost his job in early December.<\/p>\n

Walker returned to the starting lineup at the end of the season at right guard.<\/p>\n

According to Pro Football Focus<\/a>, Little was below average at both run blocking and in pass protection last season.<\/p>\n

Proposed NFL Trade Sends Browns OT Walker Little\"Walker<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard to see why Vacchiano, who was rather harsh on the Browns offensive line situation, would see Little as a significant part of the solution. But the veteran does have value because of his versatility.<\/p>\n

The Browns have holes all along their offensive line. They could acquire Little to see if he fits anywhere. Should he bounce back from his poor 2025, then maybe Little could be a stopgap at left tackle.<\/p>\n

In 2024, Little posted good PFF grades in run blocking and pass protection. During that season, though, he played a small sample of offensive snaps.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, it\u2019s worth wondering if the Jaguars will be willing to give up Little for next to nothing as Vacchiano suggested. Little might have lost his starting job in Jacksonville, but his versatility makes him a valuable backup, which could keep him off the trade market.<\/p>\n

How Little Could Fit With the Browns\"Walker<\/p>\n

The Browns already acquired an offensive tackle this offseason. The team traded for veteran Tytus Howard<\/a> from the Houston Texans<\/a> for a 2026 fifth-round pick.<\/p>\n

In 2026 NFL free agency, the Browns signed interior offensive lineman Zion Johnson<\/a> and Elgton Jenkins<\/a>. They also re-signed guard Teven Jenkins<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In a perfect world, Elgton Jenkins would return to guard. He struggled at center last season after transitioning to the position for the Green Bay Packers<\/a>. Jenkins, though, made two Pro Bowls as a guard prior to that.<\/p>\n

But the Browns appear set to start Elgton Jenkins at center with Johnson and Teven Jenkins at the two guard spots. Howard will likely enter training camp as the projected starting right tackle with Dawand Jones<\/a> set to play left tackle.<\/p>\n

Of course, this is subject to change based on Cleveland\u2019s 2026 NFL Draft. The Browns own the No. 6 and 24 selections in the first round alone.<\/p>\n

If Cleveland doesn\u2019t add a tackle early in the draft, a trade in the later rounds for Little could make a lot of sense. At the very least, he could provide depth and competition for the tackles already on the Browns roster.<\/p>\n
