The NFL Draft is rapidly approaching and prospects will be waiting to hear their names called<\/a> as their dreams come true of being drafted into the league. The Tennessee Titans won\u2019t have to wait long to make their draft choice as they pick at No. 4 overall, where they will be able to grab one of the top prospects available.<\/p>\n

The Titans placed an emphasis on defense in free agency<\/a>, bringing in a ton of help on the defensive line and in the secondary. The only true help on offense that they acquired was wide receiver Wan\u2019Dale Robinson. Maybe that shows us what direction that Mike Borgonzi could go come April 23rd.<\/p>\n

With Robert Saleh getting a second shot as a head coach and now calling the defense, you could make the argument that the Titans would potentially go with a defender at No. 4. NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah has a different approach which also included him sharing some great in-depth info about one of the classes\u2019 top pass rushers.<\/p>\n

Titans reportedly not interested in DE Rueben Bain Jr.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah joined Peter Schrager on The Schrager Hour<\/a> podcast where they conducted a Round 1 mock draft that included the Titans drafting running back Jeremiyah Love out of Notre Dame<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah went into depth on how the Titans need to do something in order to help Cam Ward. He also mentioned how he believes the Titans will continue to improve the offensive line in this year\u2019s draft and next year\u2019s free agency period.<\/p>\n

Schrager than argued that if a player like Arvell Reese or David Bailey somehow fell out of the top three, then maybe there is a potential idea of one of them going to Tennessee<\/a> to be part of Saleh\u2019s pass-rushing group.<\/p>\n

Finall, Jeremiah added then brought up the Rueben Bain Jr. factor and added that the stuff he\u2019s heard out of Tennessee is that he \u201cdoesn\u2019t think they are a huge Bain guy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was told that was not their guy\u201d said Jeremiah.<\/p>\n

At one point before this process started back in February, you could make the case that Bain had a great chance at being a top five-pick. While he could still land in the top 10, Bain doesn\u2019t seem like one of the top prospects like he once was earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Jeremiah\u2019s pick with Love for the Titans is a smart idea, no matter what the take is on drafting a running back early on. A lot of teams in recent years have not given their young quarterbacks great weapons in order to be successful. The Titans cannot become apart of that trend.<\/p>\n

Love is an explosive playmaker who is a dual-threat runner and receiver. He is by far the best prospect in this NFL Draft. Love landing in Tennessee would give Ward a safety valve, and Brian Daboll another threat towards opposing defenses.<\/p>\n
