The Cleveland Browns<\/a> are coming into the 2026 NFL Draft with a few picks inside the first 40 selections, most notably, they have two first-rounders thanks to their Travis Hunter trade-down with the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n

But, with their own first-rounder at No. 6 overall, there are a ton of options the Browns could go with. Offensive line, wide receiver, defense, or a trade are all on the table.<\/p>\n

This uncertainty with the sixth overall pick has, according to ESPN’s Jordan Reid<\/a>, NFL insiders “conflicted” over what the Browns will end up doing with their No. 6 overall pick.<\/p>\n

“And which pick are you the most uncertain on? The Browns at No. 6 is one that sources have been conflicted on,” Reid writes.<\/p>\n

Cleveland could go a lot of different routes with this sixth-overall selection. And that’s even with the Browns’ top two options being so well known at this point.<\/p>\n

Despite Cleveland having a clear need at wide receiver and offensive tackle, they could easily choose one or the other with the sixth pick, and neither would be a surprise.<\/p>\n

If they want WR, Carnell Tate out of Ohio State would be a good pick. If they decide to go OL, Francis Mauigoa and Spencer Fano are both in play.<\/p>\n

They could also go best-player available, if someone like Caleb Downs, Arvell Reese, Sonny Styles, David Bailey, Ruben Bain Jr., or some other player piques their interest.<\/p>\n

But a trade-down is also very much in play. If a team like the Dallas Cowboys<\/a> want’s to be aggressive for an edge rusher, moving down six spots wouldn’t be a bad idea for the Browns to pick up some extra draft capital.<\/p>\n

While most teams have plenty of options with their first round picks, the Browns are one of the more uncertain spots in the NFL draft with their No. 6 pick.<\/p>\n
