Brown <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AdamSchefter\/status\/2042702917652591003\" rel=\"nofollow\">could be on the<\/a> horizon. ESPN&#8217;s NFL insider Adam Schefter shared additional details regarding the potential trade.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;AJ Brown\u2019s future in Philadelphia remains a topic of conversation, and in the meantime, the Eagles add another WR in Dontayvion Wicks from Green Bay,&#8221; Schefter wrote Friday on X.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The belief remains that, if an AJ Brown trade were to happen, it would likely occur after June 1, when the cap burden would be more manageable for the Eagles.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The main reason the Eagles would consider trading Brown after June 1 is due to financial implications. If they trade him before June 2, they would face a hefty dead cap hit of $43 million this season. However, if they wait until after June 1 to make the trade, the dead cap hit would drop significantly to only $16 million.<\/p>\n<p>There is reason to believe that the <a href=\"https:\/\/nesn.com\/new-england-patriots\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Patriots<\/a> could be the frontrunners to land Brown if the Eagles decide to trade him.
