{"id":863496,"date":"2026-04-10T23:21:25","date_gmt":"2026-04-10T23:21:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/863496\/"},"modified":"2026-04-10T23:21:25","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T23:21:25","slug":"eagles-land-wr-dontayvion-wicks-from-green-bay-for-2-draft-picks-ap-source-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/863496\/","title":{"rendered":"Eagles land WR Dontayvion Wicks from Green Bay for 2 draft picks, AP source says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">PHILADELPHIA (AP) \u2014 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/philadelphia-eagles-team\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> have acquired wide receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/dontayvion-wicks-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dontayvion Wicks<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/green-bay-packers-team\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Green Bay Packers<\/a> for two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nba\/nba-draft\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">draft picks<\/a>, two people with knowledge of the trade told The Associated Press on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">Both people spoke on condition of anonymity because the trade hadn\u2019t been announced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">The Packers will receive a fifth-round pick in this month\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">NFL<\/a> draft and a 2027 sixth-round pick.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">Wicks turns 25 in June and spent the last three seasons with the Packers after they selected him in the fifth round of the 2023 draft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">He has 108 catches for 1,328 yards and 11 touchdowns in 46 career games.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">The Eagles will enter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/nfl-draft\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the draft<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/aj-brown-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">A.J. Brown<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/devonta-smith-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">DeVonta Smith<\/a> as their top receivers, and Wicks is expected to be in the mix for the No. 3 spot with Hollywood Brown, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/johnny-wilson-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Johnny Wilson<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxsports.com\/nfl\/darius-cooper-player\" class=\"entity\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Darius Cooper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ff-h fs-16 lh-1pt6 mg-b-15 article-content\" use-external-image=\"true\" data-v-ace7f8b6=\"\">The trade could make Brown more expendable. The Eagles have listened to offers for the three-time Pro Bowler.
