The Dallas Cowboys<\/a> could make things interesting on the offseason trade market with one mind-blowing move.<\/p>\n

Acquiring the Las Vegas Raiders<\/a>\u2019 two-time All-Pro Defensive end in a deal that would make the Cowboys formidable on that side of the ball would be worth exploring, according to Fox Sports\u2019 Ralph Vacchiano.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is probably a very un-Jerry Jones-like move (2026 first-round pick and a 2026 third-round pick to the Raiders for Maxx Crosby), but the Cowboys\u2019 defense is a mess, and they desperately need help with their pass rush,\u201d Vacchiano wrote Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt would be costly, though not as costly as the two first-round picks the Ravens<\/a> initially agreed to send to Vegas for Crosby before that trade fell apart. The Cowboys have two first-rounders, so they could part with one and sweeten the deal with a couple of thirds.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAssuming Crosby’s knee isn’t ravaged, it\u2019s worth the risk for a team desperate to make a Super Bowl run, because adding Crosby would give the Cowboys one of the best defensive fronts in the league.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Cowboys would undoubtedly hit the jackpot by landing Crosby. The polished and instinctual 28-year-old edge rusher would help Dallas generate immense pressure on opposing quarterbacks and change the narrative surrounding their pass-rushing attack.<\/p>\n

The thing is, the Raiders aren\u2019t jumping up and down at the thought of trading for Crosby after their unsuccessful deal with the Baltimore Ravens in March, which would complicate a potential trade with the Cowboys.<\/p>\n

Still, Dallas should keep Crosby on its radar until Las Vegas officially puts the kibosh on a transaction with the five-time Super Bowl champions, or any other franchise.<\/p>\n
