To the Tennessee Titans<\/a>\u2019 credit, they\u2019ve made an effort to surround Cam Ward with more talent on the receiving front since the end of the 2025-26 campaign.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Adding underrated former New York Giants<\/a> wideout Wan\u2019Dale Robinson will benefit Ward in Year 2, but there\u2019s no question that there\u2019s more work to be done.\u00a0<\/p>\n

NFL.com\u2019s Matt Okada<\/a> believes that reuniting with a three-time All-Pro WR is a viable offseason trade option for the franchise.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe goal for GM Mike Borgonzi should be to find a catalyst for second-year QB Cam Ward, much like Stefon Diggs was for Josh Allen and A.J. Brown was for Jalen Hurts,\u201d Okada wrote Tuesday.<\/p>\n

\u201cFree-agent addition Wan’Dale Robinson is an excellent fit in Tennessee, but he’s not a bona fide WR1. The Titans could find a solution in the draft, but that approach brings higher risk and potentially a longer timeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTennessee\u2019s position in the draft does make compensation interesting, as its only first-rounder is the fourth overall pick, but perhaps Philadelphia would be willing to push the desired first out to 2027 for a more lucrative overall return (for Brown).”<\/p>\n

For clarity, Okada\u2019s trade idea would send a 2026 second-round pick (No. 35) and a 2027 first-round pick to the Eagles<\/a> for Brown.<\/p>\n

Before joining Hurts and the Eagles in 2022, Brown spent the first three years of his career with the Titans. The 2020-21 season was undoubtedly his best in Tennessee, as he concluded the year with 70 receptions for 1,075 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After a down year in 2021-22, though, the Titans traded him to the Eagles for the 18th overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Fast forward to 2026, and the Titans would likely admit that they would do just about anything to add Brown back to the fold. A young quarterback like Ward needs a high-level WR teammate who he can lean on regularly, and Brown could easily be the guy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unlikely the Eagles would trade their three-time Pro Bowler back to his first NFL home, but the right trade offer could prove to be a game-changer.<\/p>\n
