They have been active in free agency, but they will still likely look to add talent on the draft\u2019s second day.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-2\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6p\">As it has been well noted all offseason, the Falcons will be hamstrung in terms of draft capital. Their first selection will not come until the second round, and they carry just five total selections in what has emerged as a deep class. They will still have several options at their disposal, but Ian Cunningham will need to maximize his selections.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-3\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6s\">So why not target the player identified as the \u201cdraft\u2019s most underrated\u201d wide receiver?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6v\">That is how The Athletic\u2019s Bruce Feldman,<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TA_FootballShow\/status\/2042709440055644504?s=20\" rel=\"nofollow\"> who joined The Athletic Football Show<\/a>, referred to Georgia State\u2019s Ted Hurst. The college football insider had some high praise for the wide receiver.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6y\">\u201cI think if Ted Hurst went to Georgia, or if Ted Hurst went somewhere else in the SEC, [then] Ted Hurst is a first-round pick,\u201d Feldman said. \u201cWhen I would talk to people about him, they\u2019re like, \u2018Man, his traits \u2013 they\u2019re not off the charts, but they are eye-catching.\u2019 You\u2019re talking about an 11\u2019 broad jump guy. He\u2019s legit 6-foot-3, 205 [pounds]. There\u2019s no Calvin Johnsons in this draft, but he is very, very gifted. But he\u2019s also a guy who\u2019s competitive.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"71\">This is not the first time that Hurst has appeared on Feldman\u2019s radar. Hurst came in at No. 83 on the writer\u2019s annual \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6522767\/2025\/08\/04\/college-football-freaks-list-ohio-state-jeremiah-smith\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Freaks List<\/a>\u2019 last August for his athletic traits, and he continued to excel last fall. The All-Sun Belt receiver led Georgia State through another season with 1,004 yards on 71 receptions and six touchdowns. He also showed that he can stretch the field, highlighted by a season-long reception of 70 yards.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"74\">He was a volume receiver over his two seasons with the Panthers, finishing with 127 receptions for 1,965 yards and 15 total touchdowns. Opponents knew where the ball was going, but they still could not stop it \u2013 no matter the competition, that is impressive.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-8\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"77\">His consistency, paired with his breakout NFL Combine performance (4.42 forty, 36.5\u201d vertical, and 11\u20193\u201d broad jump), has pushed him up draft boards across the league.
