The Las Vegas Raiders had their press conference with new quarterback Kirk Cousins. Cousins will be the spot starter for Fernando Mendoza, who is presumed to be the number one pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Cousins said during his interview with Good Morning Football that the two have already watched film together.<\/p>\n
At this point, it will be assumed that Cousins will start Week 1 next season. It will all depend on Mendoza\u2019s preseason performance, which will determine the starting QB.<\/p>\n
In this week\u2019s SB Nation Reacts, we ask Raider Nation if they think Cousins will start 6 games or more. The results are in, and the majority of Raider Nation believes Kirk Cousins will start more than 6 games. The final number was 71% of fans voting yes.<\/p>\n
Cousins went 5-3 as a starter last season and displayed that he can still execute an offense with a good running game.
