Despite Tyson not participating in Arizona State’s pro day on March 27 or the NFL combine’s on-field workouts, Brugler labels him “an elite ball-catcher who evokes Stefon Diggs” and a “likely NFL starter.”

ASU offensive tackle Max Iheanachor clocks in as the No. 7 tackle prospect.

The 6-foot-6, 321-pound lineman has seen his draft stock explode over the past few months after following up a second-team All-Big 12 campaign with strong showings at the Senior Bowl and NFL combine.

Iheanachor also worked with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel at ASU’s pro day and has visits planned with several NFL teams, including the Arizona Cardinals.

Brugler says that the Sun Devil is a “fluid athlete for his size” who could work his way into the first round while also stating that he is most likely a project that “may need a year of development before being NFL-ready.”

Over on the defensive side, ASU linebacker Keyshaun Elliott is the position group’s No. 8 overall prospect.

Elliott earned second-team All-Big 12 honors in both of his seasons in Tempe, and he ended his collegiate career with 98 total tackles, seven sacks and 14 tackles for loss in 2025.

Although Brugler argues the linebacker “must improve in coverage,” his 6-foot-2, 233-pound stature and “instincts and football character that NFL teams look for” led to the writer giving him a third-round grade.

The first Wildcat on the list is Arizona defensive back Treydan Stukes, the No. 8 cornerback prospect.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound corner rebounded from a torn ACL in 2024 to earn All-Big 12 first-team and second-team All-American honors after amassing 52 total tackles, six pass breakups and four interceptions in 2025.

Stukes has also been labeled as a riser over the predraft period with an excellent combine performance and subsequent praise coming from the likes of ESPN NFL analyst Field Yates.

Brugler views him as a likely Day 2 pick who is an “instinctive athlete with confidence and versatility” who will “fit best in a nickel defense.

One spot below Stukes in the cornerback rankings at No. 9 overall is ASU defensive back Keith Abney II.

The 2025 season saw Abney cement himself as the team’s top corner, recording 12 pass breakups and two interceptions to also be named first-team All-Big 12. Just like Stukes, Brugler sees the Sun Devil being selected in either the second or third round because he believes Abney has the “tools and temperament to be an NFL starter.”

However, the writer could see Abney falling due to his lack of size, measured at his pro day at just under 5-foot-10 and 188 pounds.

Arizona defensive back Genesis Smith is the final prospect from either school included at the No. 9 spot for safety prospects.

The Chandler native set career highs in 2025 with 77 total tackles and eight pass breakups. His “natural center-field skill set” helped him make third-team All-Big 12 as a junior, yet Brugler expects the DB to hear his name called around the fourth round because his “physicality and tackling must improve.”

Six prospects from Arizona and ASU are featured in the top 10 rankings for each position within The…

[2078
375,390,2604,1327,7,6
0":"post-864521","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-arizona-cardinals","8":"tag-arizona","9":"tag-arizona-cardinals","10":"tag-arizonacardinals","11":"tag-cardinals","12":"tag-football","13":"tag-nfl
["GET
