The roster needs to add several impact players to be set up for a deep playoff run, but the team currently holds just seven draft picks.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-1\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5i\">They&#8217;ll need to make every pick count, and shouldn&#8217;t shy away from either trading down to acquire more draft capital or trading up to secure a player they&#8217;re in love with.<\/p>\n<p>Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-Round NFL Mock Draft*Trade down with Philadelphia Eagles*<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-4\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5r\">Eagles Receive: No. 15  overall pick<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5u\">Bucs receive: No. 23, No. 68, No. 137 <\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"5x\">The Eagles haven&#8217;t shied away in recent years from being aggressive via trades to improve their roster.  With nine total picks including four selections in the top-100, they are a logical trade partner for Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-7\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"60\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/draft2026\/story\/_\/id\/48378778\/2026-nfl-draft-latest-buzz-rumors-news-answering-questions-all-32-teams-picks#PHI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ESPN NFL insider Jordan Reid<\/a> named the Eagles as a team to watch in a trade up for wide receiver Jordyn Tyson if he falls within striking distance. AJ Brown could be traded this offseason, and the Eagles want to have an insurance policy at the position. No. 15 with Tampa Bay is a good trade spot, allowing Philadelphia to jump ahead of the Jets, who have also been linked to wide receiver help.<\/p>\n<p>Round 1, Pick 23: Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-9\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"66\">Mesidor slips down the board due to a combination of injury concerns along with already being 25 years old.\u00a0The Bucs are ecstatic to stop his draft day slide, especially after moving down and securing more draft capital.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-10\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"69\">While the concerns are valid, Mesidor is exactly what the Buccaneers need right now. The Bucs defense would get a serious boost by adding his presence.<\/p>\n<p>*Trade up with Seattle Seahawks*<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-14\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6l\">Bucs Receive: No. 32\u00a0 overall pick<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-15\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6o\">Seahawks Receive: No. 46, No. 116, 2027 fourth-round pick<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-16\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6r\">The Seahawks currently hold just four draft picks, the least of any team heading into the draft. They don\u2019t have any picks in the fourth, fifth, or seventh rounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-17\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6u\">Tampa Bay might not feel comfortable drafting Jacob Rodriguez with the 15th overall pick, but he won\u2019t be there at No. 46 overall.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-18\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"6x\">A trade up back into the first round with Seattle is a win-win for both teams. Seattle can add a fourth round draft pick, along with another one next year to move back 14 spots.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-19\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"70\">The Bucs can not only secure Rodriguez, but get the benefit of a fifth-year option on his rookie contract by selecting him in the first round, rather than the second. They&#8217;re more inclined to make this move after trading down earlier to add more ammo.<\/p>\n<p>Round 1, Pick 32 (from Seattle): Jacob Rodriguez, LB, Texas Tech\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-21\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"76\">Before writing this mock draft, I took a piece of paper out of my pocket that read, \u201cJacob Rodriguez no matter what!\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">His name is Jacob Rodriguez and he&#8217;s the best defensive player in the country. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Wjb50wehTY\" rel=\"nofollow\">pic.twitter.com\/Wjb50wehTY<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Texas Tech Football (@TexasTechFB) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TexasTechFB\/status\/1986192991477022982?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">November 5, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-23\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"7c\">Rodriguez is one of the safest players in this class due to his instincts and football IQ. Voted a team captain and well-respected by everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Round 3, Pick 77: Darrell Jackson, DT, Florida State<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-31\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"80\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/thepewterplank.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Buccaneers<\/a> need to start preparing for the not-so-distant future at the defensive tackle position. Vita Vea is 31 years old and entering a contract year, while Calijah Kancey has yet to play a full healthy season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-32\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"83\">The team signed A\u2019Shawn Robinson and brought back a familiar face in Rakeem Nunez-Roches, but both are over 30 and on just one year deals.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-33\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"86\">Jackson is a massive 6-foot-5, 315 pounds with a ridiculous 7-foot-2 wingspan. He plays big in a big-man\u2019s game \u2014 and there is always room for that type of player in the NFL.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Round 4, Pick 137: Justin Joly, TE, North Carolina State<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-37\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"8i\">Justin Joly is considered one of the best receiving tight ends in the draft, and could be a perfect complement to Cade Otton in Zac Robinson\u2019s two tight end sets.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-38\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1\" q:key=\"0\" q:id=\"8l\">He recorded 166 receptions for 1,978 yards and 15 touchdowns during his college career. He measured in at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds along with 33-inch arms and ran a 4.45 40-yard dash.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ephesians Prysock is a CB prospect in the 2026 draft class. He scored a 9.66 RAS out of a possible 10.00. He scored a 9.97 RAS out of a possible 10.00. NFL teams are split on his upside.
