(Photo by Harry How\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>The <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/nfl\/minnesota-vikings\/\" title=\"Minnesota Vikings\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\" data-wpil-monitor-id=\"223522\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Minnesota Vikings<\/a> are reportedly doing their homework on a certain 2026 NFL Draft prospect out of the backfield.<\/p>\n<p>Aaron Jones is aging, and is likely going into his final year as a Viking in 2026. Jordan Mason will be featured heavily, although his contract expires after the 2026 season. (Photo by Stacy Revere\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>Adam Carlson of\u00a0The Viking Age\u00a0recently mentioned a report from ESPN\u2019s Jordan Reid while on\u00a0The Alec Lewis Show.\u00a0In this appearance, Reid reported something quite notable for all Vikings fans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Claiborne\u2019s]\u00a0somebody that I\u2019ve heard they like quite a bit. Crazy enough, my comp for him is Aaron Jones, so it makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carlson provided more insight into Claiborne.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-5\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1\">\u201cClaiborne spent four seasons at Wake Forest, where he played in 44 games, carrying the ball 558 times for 2,599 yards and 26 touchdowns while adding 55 receptions for 424 yards and two more scores.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-6\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-primary my-f-1\">NFL.com\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/prospects\/demond-claiborne\/3200434c-4104-1524-c122-9e2e78581a20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external nofollow\">projects the 22-year-old rusher\u00a0<\/a>to be a fifth-round pick in the draft. His athleticism score is a healthy 74, but his production score of 56 drags his total score to 67. His prospect grade of 6.1 shows a belief that the five-foot-ten, 188-pound running back could develop into a starter in the NFL\u201c<\/p>\n<p>If the Vikings really are all-in on Claiborne, they\u2019ll either have to reach on him in the third round or hope that he falls to them in the fifth round around the 161st pick. Daniels<br \/>\nOle Miss WR De\u2019Zhaun Stribling<\/p>\n<p data-mrf-recirculation=\"Articles \/ Paragraph Links\">If you\u2019ve been doing your draft homework, you would know that all of these men are boundary or \u201cX\u201d receivers. This means they do most of their bidding beginning lined up near the sideline.<\/p>\n<p data-mrf-recirculation=\"Articles \/ Paragraph Links\">The average height of these gentlemen? A quarter-inch over 6\u20193. C.J. Daniels and De\u2019Zhaun Stribling are the \u201cshortest\u201d of these men at 6\u20192. Caldwell is the tallest at 6\u20195, and Hurst stands at 6\u20194.<\/p>\n<p data-mrf-recirculation=\"Articles \/ Paragraph Links\">For reference, the average height of the Jefferson-Addison-Nailor trio from 2025 was a hair under 6 feet tall.
