After losing John Franklin-Myers during free agency, the Denver Broncos<\/a> will look for reinforcements on the defensive line during the 2026 NFL draft later this month.<\/p>\n

Ohio State defensive tackle Kayden McDonald (6-2, 326 pounds) met with the Broncos<\/a> at the NFL combine. That was before Denver traded away its first-round draft pick<\/a> for Jaylen Waddle, and NFL.com<\/a> has McDonald projected as a first- or second-round prospect. So he might be out of the Broncos’ range.<\/p>\n

Denver also hosted Georgia defensive tackle Christian Miller<\/a> (6-4, 321 pounds) and Florida defensive lineman Caleb Banks<\/a> (6-6, 327 pounds) on “Top 30” visits. Banks is coming back from a foot injury<\/a>, but the league’s official website has him and Miller projected as second-round candidates.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Broncos met with Day 3 prospect Nick Barrett<\/a> (6-3, 312 pounds) of South Carolina, and they had a virtual meeting with Navy\u2019s Landon Robinson<\/a> (5-11, 293 pounds), a late-round prospect.<\/p>\n

Broncos defensive line interest<\/p>\n

Following\u00a0the Waddle trade<\/a>\u00a0last month, Denver\u00a0holds seven picks<\/a>\u00a0in the 2026 NFL draft, which will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.<\/p>\n
