The Bucs have several needs, and there is not just one reason why they missed out on postseason football in the NFL’s weakest division.

Florida CB Devin Moore is generating NFL Draft interest from NFC South

According to a report from Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were one of the teams to host a visit with an in state standout at the cornerback position in projected Florida Gators third round pick Devin Moore. The NFC South rival Atlanta Falcons were also hot on his heels with a visit, as were the Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Las Vegas Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers, Indianapolis Colts, and Detroit Lions.

That’s quite the group, but it is not surprising to see Moore generate this kind of interest. The Buccaneers have been astute with some of the underrated prospects they are bringing in for visits to get to know them, and Moore could be a steal of a pick later on in Day 2.

Devin Moore has drawn rave reviews for his smoothness, agility, and overall athleticism. The Gator has great ball skills and toughness, and a lot of the comments about his weaknesses like his long speed and ability to read receivers appear to be overblown.

The Buccaneers do not have a premium need for a cornerback, but they definitely need to pick up a quality piece who can develop into a starter, preferably by the fourth round of the draft. Moore could be in play in the third or fourth round for Tampa Bay this year, depending on how things shake out, especially with all the other teams like the Steelers and the Packers interested in getting their hands on a big school standout who can be a solid press corner at the next level.

Add us as a preferred source on GoogleFollow

When the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on the clock with the No. 15 overall pick later this month,…

[2077
211,7,6,704,250,2597,2596
0":"post-868556","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-tampa-bay-buccaneers","8":"tag-buccaneers","9":"tag-football","10":"tag-nfl","11":"tag-tampa-bay","12":"tag-tampa-bay-buccaneers","13":"tag-tampabay","14":"tag-tampabaybuccaneers
["GET
