Buffalo Bills<\/a> quarterback Josh Allen<\/a> and his wife Hailee Steinfeld are busy being new parents to a baby girl<\/a>, but Steinfeld is also keeping up with her newsletter, the \u201cBeau Society.\u201d<\/a> In the Wednesday, April 15 edition of the newsletter, Steinfeld reflected on something from the past amid motherhood.<\/p>\n Steinfeld is known for being an award-winning actress, but there was a time when she was also a pop singer. Her most recent EP, \u201cHalf Written Story,\u201d dropped back in 2020, so it\u2019s been a minute since she\u2019s hit the studio.<\/p>\n Now, Steinfeld is opening up about how much she misses doing not just music but, specifically, music videos<\/a>. Nearly anyone who makes music will say that doing music videos can really add to the creative process and bring a single to life for listeners.<\/p>\n Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen\u2019s Wife Hailee Steinfeld Shares Nostalgic Music Video and Says She Misses Doing Them<\/p>\n In her newsletter, Steinfeld discusses how much she misses doing music videos.<\/p>\n \u201cBoy, do I miss making music videos,\u201d she says in the post<\/a>, with two exclamation marks. \u201cI\u2019ve always seen them as these perfect mini movies that combine my two passions: music and film. As an artist, I care deeply about every aspect of telling a story.\u201d<\/p>\n She adds that with every song, she always had to do a music video, even though it got expensive, \u201cchaotic to shoot\u201d and often meant \u201cmaking six different outfit changes in a tiny trailer parked in the middle of nowhere.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cExecs at my label would tell me, \u2018No one cares about music videos anymore,’\u201d she added. \u201cI quickly gathered what they were really saying: There\u2019s no budget. Well, there\u2019s always budget\u2026 and I\u2019ve always cared! I still care today \u2014 so many people do.\u201d<\/p>\n Will Hailee Steinfeld Go Back Into Music? The Wife of Buffalo Bills Quarterback Josh Allen Answers<\/p>\n So, will Steinfeld ever get back to the studio and make a new album or even single? In February, she answered this question in her \u201cBeau Society\u201d newsletter<\/a>.<\/p>\n Steinfeld was asked if she has any plans to release new music in the future. \u201cWhile I have no plans to make music right at this exact moment, do I think about it? All the time,\u201d she said at the time. \u201cMusic has always been a huge part of my life, and if it makes sense to get back in a studio, it\u2019s an easy yes.\u201d<\/p>\n But, the actress also said that the music industry has evolved in the past few years and that it doesn\u2019t fulfill her as much today. At least, that\u2019s what she\u2019s saying for now.<\/p>\n \u201cBut the music industry has changed quite a bit over the last few years,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t feel as creatively fulfilled by music as much as I used to. I love the way Charli XCX writes about this.\u201d<\/p>\n Frankly, you have to admit that a Hailee Steinfeld and Taylor Swift collaboration would be pretty cool at some point.
