Fansided’s 12th Man Rising’s Ernesto Cova explained why the Seattle Seahawks could have a clear path to drafting South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse.<\/p>\n
The Seattle Seahawks<\/a> could go in a couple different directions with their first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. They don\u2019t have a lot of roster needs, and a trade back scenario is on the table to acquire more picks.<\/p>\n But if the Seahawks stay at No. 32 overall, addressing what few roster holes the team has makes sense. While Seattle could afford a luxury pick, the organization only has four selections in the 2026 NFL Draft.<\/p>\n At No. 32, though, Fansided\u2019s 12th Man Rising\u2019s Ernesto Cova argued<\/a> the Seahawks have a great chance to find value and fill a need. That\u2019s because\u00a0Cova fully expects South \u00a0Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse to be available.<\/p>\n On Saturday, Cova explained why.<\/p>\n \u201cAll 31 teams might just lay the red carpet for the defending champions to march and get the guy they want,\u201d wrote Cova. \u201cThat\u2019s why, according to FanSided\u2019s NFL draft big board<\/a>, no other team has Cisse among their top five targets.\u201d<\/p>\n ESPN\u2019s Mel Kiper Jr. ranked<\/a> Cisse the No. 4-best cornerback in the 2026 NFL Draft class. NFL.com\u2019s Lance Zierlein raved about his ceiling at the next level.<\/p>\n \u201cTeams will be willing to take a chance on Cisse\u2019s explosive athleticism and upside, but a refinement runway might be needed to smooth some of the rougher edges,\u201d wrote Zierlein<\/a>. \u201cHe\u2019s scheme-versatile in coverage and is an A-rated run supporter.<\/p>\n \u201cCisse\u2019s traits and competitiveness are clear selling points.
