During a recent media availability, Veach pointed out that the talent grades for this year’s class of offensive tackles and receivers are remarkably close.<\/p>\n

This proximity in evaluations suggests that minor differences could lead to a flurry of trades, and he hinted that fans should expect an exciting night, as the lack of a clear drop-off between prospects will likely encourage teams to be aggressive in moving up or down the draft board to secure their preferred targets.<\/p>\n

This anticipated aggression is underscored in a recent NFL.com mock draft, which predicts the Chiefs will move up<\/a> from the 29th pick, originally owned by the Rams, to the 22nd overall spot.<\/p>\n
