The focus has shifted toward maximizing value, and historically, that starts with their top 30 visits. These visits are not just formalities, for Green Bay, they’ve often been previews.

These visits often signal genuine interest. In recent years, Green Bay has consistently drafted or signed players who made pre-draft trips to the facility. That trend alone makes this year’s list worth paying attention to, especially at a position of need this year. After an inconsistent 2025 season in the secondary, the Packers are doing their homework. And while the names may not all headline Round 1 mock drafts, they represent exactly the type of traits Green Bay tends to bet on: length, athleticism, and developmental upside.

Cornerbacks Take Center Stage in Packers’ 2026 Pre-Draft Visits

Charles Demmings – Stephen F. Austin

Charles Demmings might be the most intriguing name in the group of corners. At 6’1 “and 193 pounds, he immediately checks the physical boxes. But, it is the production and testing that raise his profile. Demmings, a 2025 FCS All-American, completed his college career with nine interceptions and 35 pass breakups, showing a consistent ability to find the football.

Then came the testing for Demmings, and it shows a lot of upside. A 4.41-second 40-yard dash, a 41-inch vertical, and an 11-foot broad jump confirmed what the tape indicated: elite athleticism. With nearly 2,000 snaps on the perimeter, Demmings projects as a late Day 2 or early Day 3 option with significant upside.

Malcolm DeWalt IV – Akron

Malcolm DeWalt IV took a less traditional approach but achieved impressive results in his collegiate career. After starting in junior college, he developed into a reliable defender at Akron. In 2025, he allowed only 23 receptions and posted a passer rating below 80 when targeted. He also demonstrated strong tackling ability, missing only one tackle throughout the season.

At 6-foot and 197 pounds, with 4.38 speed, he brings both physicality and range. His tackling and run defense grades were among the best in his class, adding another layer to his evaluation. He projects as a late Day 3 pick or priority free agent, but the traits are worth investing in.

Will Lee III – Texas A&M

Will Lee III might be the most polarizing name on the list. A three-year starter between Kansas and Texas A&M, Lee brings length and athletic ability that are difficult to ignore. His testing numbers (including a 42-inch vertical) show that raw potential, and his production includes 28 pass breakups and four interceptions since 2023.

But the concerns are also difficult to ignore as well. Lee has allowed explosive plays, surrendered significant yardage, and committed penalties at a high rate. But still, for a team like Green Bay, Lee fits the mold as a late Day 2 or early Day 3 target.

Karon Prunty – Wake Forest

Karon Prunty may not make headlines, but his efficiency does stand out. After transferring to Wake Forest, he had a successful 2025 season, allowing only 25 receptions and finishing with one of the best coverage grades in his class. Throughout his career, he had seven interceptions on more than 1,700 coverage snaps.

At 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds, Prunty fits the physical profile Green Bay prefers. He projects as a late Day 3 option or undrafted free agent, but his reliability gives him a chance to compete for depth.

D’Arco Perkins-McAllister – ULM

D’Arco Perkins-McAllister offers something unique: versatility. Having played for multiple programs (from TCU to ULM), he has lined up at perimeter corner, slot, safety, and even the box. His production reflects his versatility, which includes sacks as a blitzer and contributions on special teams.

At 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, with long arms and solid athletic testing, he brings a unique physical profile. The challenge will be defining his role at the next level. He likely projects as a priority free agent, but his flexibility could make him a useful piece in the right system.

A Clear Focus in Green Bay

The message from these visits is simple. The Packers are not just looking for a cornerback, they are trying to build a quality and deep corner room. With no first-round pick, the approach shifts toward volume, traits, and development. These visits reflect a focus on the front office, searching for competition, depth, and long-term solutions rather than immediate stars.

History suggests that at least one of these names will end up in Green Bay. And if that trend holds, the foundation of the Packers’ next secondary may already have walked through the building.

With no first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers are approaching the pre-draft process…

[2072
4955,41874,117968,7,41,345,623,2514,2513,116837,117969,6,428,117970
0":"post-870414","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-green-bay-packers","8":"tag-2026-nfl-draft","9":"tag-charles-demmings","10":"tag-darco-perkins-mcallister","11":"tag-football","12":"tag-green-bay","13":"tag-green-bay-packers","14":"tag-green-bay-packers-draft","15":"tag-greenbay","16":"tag-greenbaypackers","17":"tag-karon-prunty","18":"tag-malcolm-dewalt-iv","19":"tag-nfl","20":"tag-packers","21":"tag-will-lee
["GET
