That’s where Brian Gutekunst will begin the task of adding reinforcements, with significant needs at cornerback, defensive tackle, and edge-rusher.

The NFL Draft can be chaotic, but we have you covered with everything you need to know relating to the Packers.

Packers draft snapshotBest remaining draft targetsWhat the experts are sayingUpdated Packers depth chartDraft pick trackerTracking the NFC North rivalsPackers draft snapshotCurrent draft capital: Picks No. 52, No. 84, No. 120, No. 153, No. 160, No. 201, No. 236, No. 255Primary needs: Cornerback, defensive tackle, edge-rusher, offensive lineLatest mock selection: Gabe Jacas, Edge, IllinoisLast updated: April 20, 3:30 p.m. CTBest remaining draft targetsChris Johnson, CB, San Diego State

Chris Johnson is undoubtedly the dream choice for the Packers at No. 52, but it’s looking increasingly unlikely that he will fall that far.

Johnson has everything they look for. He offers elite athleticism and had the necessary college production at San Diego State. Johnson had four interceptions and allowed a passer rating of just 16.1 in his coverage last season, per Pro Football Focus. The Packers may need to trade up to have a chance of drafting him.

Max Iheanachor, OL, Arizona State

Jordan Morgan is the Packers’ new starting left tackle, but nobody knows whether the experiment will work. Gutekunst can’t afford to ignore the offensive line early in the draft, especially given the team’s lack of depth at all five positions.

Arizona’s Max Iheanachor would be a dream addition if he somehow falls to No. 52. His 9.87 Relative Athletic Score ranks 20th among 1,519 tackles since 1987. Is he ready to start right away? Maybe not, but a year as the Packers’ swing tackle before competing for a starting job could pay off perfectly.

Colton Hood, CB, Tennessee

Colton Hood is another player on the cusp of the first round, but given the depth of the cornerback class, he could fall into the Packers’ range. Hood is often overlooked because he played alongside Jermod McCoy, but Hood is also one of the best corners in the class.

Per Pro Football Focus, he gave up just 28 completions with one touchdown and one interception last season. Hood is ready to start from Day 1 and could immediately replace Carrington Valentine in the lineup.

Caleb Banks, DL, Florida

Even after adding Javon Hargrave in free agency, the Packers still need help at defensive tackle. Based on talent alone, Caleb Banks would be a home-run pick in the second round. His rare combination of size, athleticism, and pass-rush potential gives him all the tools to be a star in the NFL.

However, a concerning injury history could cause Banks to fall on draft day. The question is, if he’s available at No. 52, will the Packers be the team willing to roll the dice?

Germie Bernard, WR, Alabama

Wide receiver is a sneaky need for the Packers, even as early as Round 2. Alabama’s Germie Bernard would be an ideal replacement for Romeo Doubs. Bernard played alongside Jayden Reed for one season at Michigan State, but he elevated his game to another level during his two years with Alabama.

Bernard dominated last season, catching 64 passes for 862 yards and seven touchdowns. He may not have one elite trait, but he does everything at a high level and would instantly become one of Jordan Love’s favorite targets.

What the experts are saying

Dane Brugler, The Athletic

Dani Dennis-Sutton, Edge, Penn State (No. 52)Davison Igbinosun, CB, Ohio State (No. 84)

It’s hard to argue with Dane Brugler’s choices in his latest mock draft for The Athletic. Green Bay needs to upgrade the pass rush and cornerback room, and this would be an ideal start to the draft.

Denis-Sutton is one of the best athletes at his position in the class, which will have the Packers’ attention, and he has the college production to back it up. The Penn State product made 17 sacks over the past two seasons and could immediately compete with Lukas Van Ness for snaps in Green Bay.

Igbinosun doesn’t quite meet the Packers’ strict size thresholds, but he checks just about every other box. He is also an elite athlete. According to PFF, Igbinosun allowed a completion percentage of just 47.8 last season, with quarterbacks throwing for 207 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions in his coverage.

Updated Packers depth chartOffenseQB: Jordan Love, Desmond Ridder, Kyle McCordRB: Josh Jacobs, Chris Brooks, MarShawn LloydWR: Christian Watson, Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, Savion Williams, Skyy MooreTE: Tucker Kraft, Luke Musgrave, Josh WhyleOL: Jordan Morgan, Aaron Banks, Sean Rhyan, Anthony Belton, Zach Tom, Darian Kinnard, Brant Banks, Jacob Monk, Travis Glover, Donovan JenningsDefenseDL: Devonte Wyatt, Javon Hargrave, Karl Brooks, Warren Brinson, Nazir StackhouseEdge: Micah Parsons, Lukas Van Ness, Brenton Cox Jr., Barryn Sorrell, Collin Oliver, Arron MosbyLB: Edgerrin Cooper, Zaire Franklin, Isaiah McDuffie, Ty’Ron Hopper, Kristian WelchCB: Keisean Nixon, Carrington Valentine, Javon Bullard, Benjamin St-Juste, Kamal Hadden, Shemar BartholomewS: Xavier McKinney, Evan Williams, Kitan Oladapo, Jaylin SimpsonDraft pick tracker

Pick

Player

Round 2 (52)

TBD

Round 3 (84)

TBD

Round 4 (120)

TBD

Round 5 (153)

TBD

Round 5 (160)

TBD

Round 6 (201)

TBD

Round 7 (236)

TBD

Round 7 (255)

TBD

Tracking the NFC North rivalsChicago BearsRound 1, Pick 25Round 2, Pick 57Round 2, Pick 60Round 3, Pick 89Round 4, Pick 129Round 7, Pick 239Round 7, Pick 241Detroit LionsRound 1, Pick 17Round 2, Pick 50Round 4, Pick 118Round 4, Pick 128Round 5, Pick 157Round 5, Pick 181Round 6, Pick 205Round 6, Pick 213Round 7, Pick 222Minnesota VikingsRound 1, Pick 18Round 2, Pick 49Round 3, Pick 82Round 3, Pick 97Round 5, Pick 163Round 6, Pick 196Round 7, Pick 234Round 7, Pick 235Round 7, Pick 244Add us as a preferred source on GoogleFollow

The Green Bay Packers must navigate their way through the 2026 NFL Draft without a first-round pick.
