With the NFL Draft nearly here, the questions about what the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> are going to do will only continue to intensify leading up to Thursday night.<\/p>\n

Everybody knows the Eagles are looking to improve on both sides of the ball, but questions remain about what they want to do at wide receiver. If the Eagles believe that they\u2019re going to move on from A.J. Brown<\/a> after June 1, there\u2019s a very good chance that he could be traded then, and Philadelphia could look to do what it needs to do on draft night to replace him.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s almost impossible to get a feel for what exactly the Eagles are going to do, as there have been some conflicting reports. However, when discussing the situation, Eagles legend and Super Bowl champion Nick Foles<\/a> offered some interesting ideas about how things could unfold and what he would do.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I have gathered is (he) wants to be traded,\u201d Foles said on The SZN with Nick Foles and Evan Moore. \u201cBut I also think he wants to be traded to specific places. I think New England<\/a> would make a lot of sense because of his history with (Mike) Vrabel. I think that\u2019s obvious. I think he even said he grew up a Patriots<\/a> fan if I\u2019m correct. So that would be a twofold situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI think at this point you do it,\u201d Foles said when asked if he would trade Brown. \u201cBut that\u2019s tough for me. What came to my mind right there is I think A.J. Brown is an incredible wide receiver. But, but, but there were several times last year where I saw him throttle in on routes or not thinking the ball was going to go his way. And that was the difference in a completion and not (a completion).\u201d<\/p>\n

Everything that Foles said here is completely fair. If we\u2019re going based on pure talent, the Eagles will have a tough time replacing Brown. On the flip side, there\u2019s something to be said about his attitude at times, and unfortunately, that\u2019s the biggest factor in this situation.<\/p>\n
