With concerns over Charbonnet\u2019s season-ending injury and the lack of production behind him, one analyst suggests that the team take aim at a versatile running back on the trade market.<\/p>\n<p>Seattle Seahawks Could Find Perfect Fit in D\u2019Andre Swift<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.si.com\/nfl\/seahawks\/onsi\/seahawks-trade-rumors-dandre-swift-chicago-bears\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">SI.com\u2019s Jeremy Brener<\/a> suggested that the Seahawks pursue Chicago Bears running back D\u2019Andre Swift, a versatile player who has amassed more than 6,800 yards from scrimmage since coming into the NFL in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the loss of Kenneth Walker III to the Kansas City Chiefs in free agency, Seattle\u2019s backfield is in a state of flux. While the draft offers potential, a trade for Chicago Bears running back D\u2019Andre Swift presents a win-now opportunity for the defending Super Bowl champions,\u201d Brener wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Brener added that Swift fits the mold of Seattle\u2019s favored running backs, physical and versatile enough to make contributions in both the rushing and passing games.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-12\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\">\u201cSeattle\u2019s current depth chart is thin,\u201d Brener wrote. \u201cBeyond the injured Charbonnet, the roster features Emanuel Wilson, George Holani and Kenny McIntosh.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brener suggested the Seahawks could land Swift for a mid-round pick, allowing them to trade down from the No. 32 spot instead of using that pick on a running back. This trade would also be necessary to give the Seahawks \u2014 who have only four draft picks \u2014 the capital needed to land Swift. The move would also give Charbonnet more time to recover \u201cwithout rushing him back,\u201d Brener added.<\/p>\n<p>Given the team\u2019s pressure to defend their Super Bowl title, landing Swift could be closer to a necessity, he added.<\/p>\n<p id=\"inline-text-16\" class=\"my-[18px] [&amp;_a]:text-secondary my-f-1.5\">\u2018The Seahawks have a wide open Super Bowl window.
