The Chicago Bears have some questions about their offensive line, but could Spencer Fano be an answer at tackle for the team? <\/p>\n

Fano was a first-team AP All-American this season for the Utes, and won the Outland Trophy as the nation\u2019s top interior lineman. <\/p>\n

He has experience at both tackle spots and can play guard, and he has even been able to play center on occasion, having taken snaps at center during the NFL Combine. <\/p>\n

Overall Fano allowed zero sacks, zero QB hits, and just five total pressures last season in 12 starts. <\/p>\n

NBC Chicago\u2019s Lou Canellis was quick to highlight Fano\u2019s incredible footwork and body control at the point of attack, and scouts tend to agree, putting him right near the top of this year\u2019s tackle class. <\/p>\n

Fano checked in at 6-foot-5 inches tall and weighed 311 pounds at the Combine after finishing his junior season with the Utes. <\/p>\n

NFL Network\u2019s scouting report had Fano as the top offensive tackle <\/a>at the Combine in Indianapolis in terms of production and overall, and their report on him was high in its praises of his athleticism, sealing edges and his ability to take on aggressive pass rushes.<\/p>\n

The scouting report did raise questions about his pad level when he gets downfield, and also said he needed to work on the timing of his punches at the line of attack. <\/p>\n

Still, Fano comes from a solid family, as his brother Logan Fano was an All-Big 12 edge rusher. His uncles Gabe Reid, Spencer Reid, Teni Palepoi and Anton Palepoi all played in the NFL as well, according to NFL.com. <\/p>\n
