A five-time Pro Bowler, Bosa hasn’t been able to stay healthy for the past several years. The 29-year-old last played a full season in 2019. In the past three seasons, injuries have significantly derailed his career, resulting in 23 regular-season games missed. In 2024 with the Los Angeles Chargers, he participated in 14 tilts but rarely looked like his former self. He generated five sacks, a career-low in which he participated in at least six games.<\/p>\n
After his release<\/a> from the Chargers, Bosa inked a one-year, $12.61 million contract<\/a> in Buffalo, with $12 million guaranteed. Before June, he’s already dealing with another injury issue.<\/p>\n “Listen, it is concerning,” McDermott said. “Durability, availability are key ties to our roster. We basically look ahead in terms of what he’s doing now, which is getting himself the treatment that he needs and he’s working hard at it. That’s all he can control right now. We get him back when we get him back, probably at this point training camp. We’re gonna do the best job we can — and I know he is as well — and just take it one day at a time.”<\/p>\n If Bosa can’t stay healthy, the Bills might look to add another veteran to the mix to work in a rotation with Greg Rousseau<\/a>, A.J.
