Hailing from Stafford, VA, Sarratt followed Curt Cignetti from James Madison to Indiana prior to the 2024 season. He thrived in Bloomington, and was a big reason for Indiana’s historic National Championship this past season.

Ranking the top 3 NFL Draft destinations for Omar Cooper Jr.

Sarratt hauled in 65 catches for 830 yards and led the entire country with 15 receiving touchdowns in 2025-26. He was at his best when it mattered most, and put together a stand-out performance in the Peach Bowl against Oregon when he collected 7 catches for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Sarratt is projected to be a third or fourth round pick, and there are several teams out there who could make for a solid fit. Here are the five best options.

Most likely NFL Draft destinations for Indiana WR Elijah Sarratt

There is arguably no team hungrier for WR help than the New Orleans Saints. Chris Olave has been inconsistent, and injury concerns are still present. He racked up 1,163 yards this past season, but the WR depth behind him is scarce. The Saints finished 6-11 last season, but rookie gunslinger Tyler Shough posted a 5-4 record as New Orleans’ QB1. He seems to be the guy heading into 2026, and now it’s time to get him some receiving weapons. Sarratt could be a great option.

The Colts traded WR Michael Pittman Jr. to the Steelers earlier in the offseason, so it makes sense that they would be searching for new WR talent in the draft. Indianapolis did sign Alec Pierce to a long-term extension, but still need to round out their WR room. Sarratt’s ability to win contested catches and 50/50 balls could make him a solid replacement for Pittman. The franchise is reportedly very interested in Sarratt, so a move up the road to Indianapolis may be in the cards.

It’s clear that the Bills are trying to get Josh Allen as many receiving weapons as possible. The Bills have already added veteran WR DJ Moore to their roster earlier this offseason, and they will most likely be on the lookout for more receiving talent in the draft.

Indiana Mock Draft: Predicting where every Indiana Hoosier will be picked in the 2026 NFL Draft

Sarratt is extremely reliable and sure-handed, as he ended his collegiate career with a contested catch rate of 60%. That could make for a great fit in Buffalo’s pass-heavy offense with Allen at the helm.

ESPN has Sarratt landing in Miami in its latest mock draft. It wouldn’t be a bad fit, as new head coach Jeff Hafley has a lot of work to do in revamping the Miami offense following the departure of Tua Tagovailoa. Miami also released Tyreek Hill and traded Jaylen Waddle to Denver, meaning they are on the prowl for receiving talent in the draft. Needing as much receiving help as they can get, don’t be surprised if the Dolphins select Sarratt 94th overall if he is still available.

Finding a reliable No. 2 receiver to complement Garrett Wilson has been a struggle for the Jets over the past few seasons. Each experiment hasn’t seemed to go well, but Sarratt could change that. If the Hoosier product slips into the 4th round, he may not be there long. Owning the 3rd pick of the 4th round, the Jets may want to snag him if he’s there.

Add us as a preferred source on GoogleFollow

The 2026 NFL Draft is almost here, and the Indiana Hoosiers are sure to be well-represented.
