He was the eighth overall pick in the draft out of Penn State.<\/p>\n<p>Bills fans will remember Conlan&#8217;s contributions to Buffalo&#8217;s defense from 1987-1992, earning the AP NFL Defensive Rookie of The Year (&#8217;87) and three Second-team All-Pro selections ( &#8217;87, &#8217;88, &#8217;90).<\/p>\n<p>Conlan is a member of the Bills <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalobills.com\/news\/bills-all-time-team-fan-voting-determined-26-total-members-469214\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">50th Season All-Time Team<\/a> and a member of the <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break:break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.buffalosportshallfame.com\/shane-conlan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Conlan joins a select group of Bills legends to announce a pick at the NFL Draft.
