Last year, it was 10 minutes before picks in Round 1. Back in 2006, it was 15 minutes between picks. Say what!?<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The NFL Draft is riveting television, but it can drag a little. Shaving two minutes off a pick is a great idea, speed this thing up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Not all agree. Steelers GM Omar Khan said, \u201cEight minutes is what it is, but those two minutes, it feels like an eternity sometimes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">His head coach Mike McCarthy replied back, \u201cI only get 40 seconds to call a play.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Exactly, change is good. Things will be just fine.
