The Giants could have another team to worry about in their pursuit of RB prospect Jeremiyah Love.<\/p>\n
In the buildup to the NFL Draft, Jeremiyah Love has been a key name linked to the New York Giants<\/a>. Just days out from the festivities getting underway, their chances of nabbing the Notre Dame standout could be dwindling.<\/p>\n Armed with the fifth pick, the Giants don\u2019t need Love to drop much to select him. That said, the Tennessee Titans<\/a>, who pick at No. 4, have also been tied to him. Amid recent developments, another team could be in the mix as well. On April 20th, insider Adam Schefter reported that the Arizona Cardinals<\/a> are entertaining the idea of selecting Love with the third pick.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are some who believe he could go as high as No. 3 to Arizona and no lower than No. 7 to Washington, which has been pushing to upgrade its backfield in each of the past two offseasons,\u201d Schefter wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n Love is coming off a dominant Junior season that saw him finish third in Heisman voting. Across 12 games for the Fighting Irish, he posted over 1,600 scrimmage yards and 21 touchdowns.<\/p>\n Widely regarded as one of the best prospects in this draft, Love likely won\u2019t be waiting long to hear his name called. The only question is which team in the top ten will select the dynamic backfield threat.<\/p>\n Jeremiyah Love is High on Fit With Giants<\/p>\n Love is someone the Giants zeroed in on quickly, bringing him in for a visit early in the draft process. The interest appears to be mutual, as the running back has said nothing but nice things about the Giants leading up to Thursday\u2019s draft.<\/p>\n During Notre Dame\u2019s Pro Day, Love raved about the Giants<\/a> while speaking with the media. He did so again while fielding questions from reporters on April 22nd, stating that he\u2019d be a good fit in New York.<\/p>\n \u201cGreat organization,\u201d Love said of the Giants. \u201cThey\u2019re building something special over there I feel like\u2026I think I would do great things with the Giants.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think I would do great things with the Giants.\u201d <\/p>\n Jeremiyah Love on his conversations with the Giants ahead of the NFL Draft. <\/p>\n Skip Bayless Urges Giants to go All In to Secure Jeremiyah Love<\/p>\n Following their blockbuster deal that sent Dexter Lawrence<\/a> to the Cincinnati Bengals<\/a>, the Giants now have two top-ten picks in the NFL Draft. This gives them the opportunity to add a pair of promising talents to their growing young core. However, one analyst thinks they should cash in all their chips to make sure they get their guy.<\/p>\n While on \u201cThe Arena: Gridiron\u201d earlier this week, Skip Bayless gave his thoughts on the Giants heading into the draft. He doesn\u2019t want to see them pick at No. 5 and No. 10. Instead, he thinks he should package the two selections to move up and walk out of the first round with Love.<\/p>\n \u201cI would take five and 10 and I think you\u2019re gonna have to go to three because I think Jeremiyah Love is gonna go three,\u201d Bayless said. \u201cI\u2019d go get Jeremiyah Love because I\u2019d say I got the best player in the draft.\u201d<\/p>\n Skip Bayless thinks the Giants should trade their two top-10 picks \ud83d\udc40<\/p>\n \u201cI would take No. 5 & No. 10, and go get Jeremiyah Love at No. 3.
