With just hours to go until the 2026 NFL<\/a> Draft, New York Giants<\/a> fans can be excited about the fact that they hold two selections within the top-10 picks.<\/p>\n Thanks to Saturday\u2019s Dexter Lawrence<\/a> trade, the Giants<\/a> now have two prime opportunities to add two blue-chip prospects at the top of the draft order.<\/p>\n Draft experts and analysts are beginning to turn in their final mock drafts, and NFL Network\u2019s Daniel Jeremiah<\/a> is no different.<\/p>\n One of the most plugged-in, accurate draft pundits has a fairly good track record of getting his mocks right, thanks to his sources within front offices.<\/p>\n Who does Jeremiah think the Giants are going to select with their two first-round picks?<\/p>\n Giants Land RB Jeremiyah Love at No. 5 Overall<\/p>\n With the fifth overall pick, Jeremiah has the New York Giants selecting Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love,<\/a> adding a dangerous threat in the backfield to take some pressure off of second-year quarterback Jaxson Dart.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cIn this scenario, Love falls into the Giants\u2019 lap and they can\u2019t turn down the opportunity to pair Jaxson Dart<\/a> with a home run hitter in the backfield,\u201d wrote<\/a> Jeremiah.<\/p>\n \u201cIf Love is off the board at No. 5, I think WR Jordyn Tyson would be the pick here.\u201d<\/p>\n With the other leading favorite to be the Giants\u2019 pick, linebacker Sonny Styles,<\/a> off the board to the Tennessee Titans<\/a> at No. 4, New York grabs their running back of the future<\/p>\n To some experts, including NBC Sports\u2019 Connor Rogers,<\/a> Love is the best overall player in the entire incoming class. The only reason he isn\u2019t projected to go any higher is due to his position.<\/p>\n Despite being a Heisman Finalist and scoring 35 touchdowns over the last two seasons, there are some legitimate reasons not to want the Giants to draft Love.<\/p>\n For starters, New York already has a decent duo of running backs in Cam Skattebo<\/a> and Tyrone Tracy.<\/a><\/p>\n To be fair, though, neither was as highly touted a prospect as Love coming out of Notre Dame.<\/p>\n It would be an exciting draft pick for sure, but should the Giants make sure they build out the roster first before adding a superstar running back into the mix, like Love?<\/p>\n There would definitely be shades of the Saquon Barkley<\/a> draft pick here if this ends up becoming reality.<\/p>\n Giants Select WR Carnell Tate at No. 10<\/p>\n At No. 10 overall, Jeremiah has the New York Giants selecting Ohio State wide receiver Carnell Tate,<\/a> adding another pass-catching option in the mix with Malik Nabers,<\/a> Darnell Mooney,<\/a> and Isaiah Likely.<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cWith Jordyn Tyson off the board, Tate comes into play for the Giants,\u201d continued<\/a> Jeremiah.<\/p>\n
