The NFL draft is universally regarded as the best way for the league’s 32 teams<\/a> to add talent to their rosters. A handful of clubs will have trouble doing that during the 2026 NFL Draft<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Several NFL teams are short on draft capital, as five teams have fewer than the traditional seven selections the league assigns at the beginning of each draft cycle.<\/p>\n

That’s not to say these teams will be unable to make significant improvements with their selections. They simply won’t be afforded the same volume of opportunities as their capital-rich peers unless they successfully orchestrate some trade-downs.<\/p>\n

Which team has fewest picks in 2026 NFL Draft?<\/p>\n

The Seattle Seahawks<\/a> have the fewest picks in the 2026 NFL Draft. The reigning Super Bowl champions are set to have just four selections, as all but one of Seattle’s Day 3 picks were exhausted in a 2024 trade for defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris<\/a> and the team’s 2025 trade deadline acquisition of wide receiver Rashid Shaheed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks’ four total selections are their fewest since the 2021 NFL Draft, when they made just three total picks. None of those players \u2013 wide receiver Dee Eskridge<\/a>, cornerback Tre Brown<\/a> and offensive tackle Stone Forsythe<\/a> \u2013 remain with the team.<\/p>\n

Teams with fewest 2026 NFL Draft picks<\/p>\n

Just five total teams are presently set to make fewer than seven selections in the 2026 NFL Draft. They are as follows:<\/p>\n

Only one of those teams \u2013 Atlanta \u2013 is without its first-round pick. The Falcons traded that selection to the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> during the 2025 NFL Draft to move into the end of the first round and select edge rusher James Pearce Jr.<\/a><\/p>\n
