COLLEGE PARK, MD \u2013 The University of Maryland football team will host its Spring Showcase on Saturday at 1 p.m. inside SECU Stadium. Admission is free, and parking across most of campus will also be available at no cost as part of Maryland Day. Gate I (South side) will open at noon and concessions will be available for purchase.<\/p>\n
Fans can expect an enhanced in-stadium experience featuring interactive programming throughout the event. Comedian and former NFL player Lou Young will serve as the in-game host alongside content creator Coach 30. The duo will conduct on-field interviews with Maryland coaches, players, and special guests, bringing fans closer to the action.<\/p>\n
The event will begin with 45 minutes of an open-practice format, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the Terps as they go through drills. A girls youth flag football scrimmage will follow before the showcase transitions into “Midday Madness in Terpsville,” an interactive portion designed for fan engagement and entertainment.<\/p>\n
During Midday Madness in Terpsville, fans will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including: \n<\/p>\n
\n\tPlaying EA Sports College Football 25 on the videoboard against Maryland players
\n\tRacing Terps players in a 40-yard dash (fans receive a head start)
\n\tDance competitions featuring players, fans, and Testudo
\n\tTug-of-war battles
\n\tField goal kicking contests
\n\tThe chance to catch a punt from the JUGS machine

The day will conclude with a full team autograph session at Terpsville Fan Fest, providing fans an opportunity to meet and connect with the entire team.<\/p>\n

Terpsville Fan Fest presented by Sardi’s: Open from 10 AM – 12:30 PM, fans can check out Terpsville Fan Fest inside the team’s indoor practice facility; inflatables, face painters, lawn games and more are available, in addition to concessions for purchase. Terpsville Fan Fest will reopen for more fun from 2:30 – 4 PM following the conclusion of the Spring Showcase, including a football team autograph session.<\/p>\n
