The city shone out, breaking attendance records and delivering an unforgettable atmosphere. As Day 2 approaches, the Pittsburgh Steelers still have plenty of work ahead. After failing to find a trade partner on Day 1, they may look to become more aggressive between Rounds 2 and 3.

The Steelers enter Day 2 of the draft armed with four selections, giving them ample firepower in potential trade negotiations. After selecting Max Iheanachor with their first‑round pick and missing out on Makai Lemon, wide receiver remains a significant need for the roster.

Heading into the second night of the draft, several receivers still on the board could emerge as legitimate options if the team decides to play aggressively and make a move.

Falling out of the first round is never easy for top prospects, but it is far from the end of the road. Denzel Boston was widely projected as a first‑round talent, yet he remains on the board heading into Day 2 of the draft. He was a wide receiver that the Steelers showed significant pre‑draft interest in and could still rank highly on their board. His clearest path to landing in Pittsburgh would come via a trade.

The Pittsburgh Steelers should trade up on Day 2 of the NFL Draft for WR Denzel BostonSteelers mock trade with Cardinals:

Arizona could make a lot of sense as a potential trade partner if the Steelers want to move up for Boston. If Pittsburgh is truly high on the Washington product, they would need to make a significant move early in the second round to secure him. Arizona has several roster holes to address and still has six draft picks remaining, giving it flexibility in trade discussions.

Moving ahead of teams that may target a wide receiver early in the second round would be a savvy move by Khan.

While giving up two picks in a potential swap is far from ideal, the gamble could pay off if it secures a true first‑round talent like Boston. In this scenario, the Cardinals would add valuable draft capital to help bolster their roster, while the Steelers would still retain eight total selections after taking Boston.

Steelers mock trade with Raiders:

Do not be surprised if Boston sits at the top of the Raiders’ draft board heading into Day 2 of the NFL Draft.

Las Vegas would love to add another weapon for their first‑round selection, Fernando Mendoza. While the Raiders have their own need at wide receiver, they may still be open to listening to trade offers. This scenario could present an intriguing opportunity, as Pittsburgh would only need to part with two picks to complete the deal.

In this scenario, the teams would swap second‑round picks, with only a slight move back from the fifth to the sixth round.

The Steelers would also send a third‑ and seventh‑round pick as part of the deal. After failing to land Lemon on Thursday night, securing Boston should be a priority for Pittsburgh. While the Raiders would require significant convincing in trade discussions, such a move is not out of the question. Las Vegas could ultimately emerge as a surprise trade partner for the Steelers.

Add us as a preferred source on GoogleFollow

[2055
7,6,520,57,2360,426
0":"post-873665","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-pittsburgh-steelers","8":"tag-football","9":"tag-nfl","10":"tag-pittsburgh","11":"tag-pittsburgh-steelers","12":"tag-pittsburghsteelers","13":"tag-steelers
["GET
